Tried it out, and i spent the entire time playing it getting shot at by guys i could hardly see with crappy effects being shoved down my throat while having my gun shake like there was an earthquake when i tried to fire it.
I didn't like it.
Can't wait for the new version. This is by far my favourite HL2 mod. The ballistics are incredibly well done :D

This mod looks amazing, but I'm going to wait for the 4.0 release to download seeing as it is so close to release. Can't wait, reminds me of hostile intent.

ammunition is limited by ammo points, Hollywood mode has the most points. When in game pressing "B" in secure zone restocks ammo clips for weapons in inventory. You can also scavenge (pickup ammobags), press mode change button to transfer to your ammobag:
New Ballistic Engine 2.0 SDK implemented
- Scripts define all components of the Ballistic System: Ammunition, Bullets, Ordnance, Materials, etc
- Actual Tracer Rounds inter-weaved into appropriate ammo magazines (red for NATO, green for Russian with diminishing cores)
- New Bullet Properties, Casing and Cores.
- Real World bullet definitions
- Adjustable Bullet Projection Frame Speeds: 8-64 per second, default 32
- Fragment and and Bullet obliteration
- Real World Energy and Performance (pistols are back)
- Stable
OccupationCS Game:
- Fixed Weapon Drift
- New Recoil System
- Quick Context Use middle mouse button): in front of door - open/close, in front of weapon/bag crouched - pickup, everything else attack with knife (if equipped)/Fist while weapon/knife/bag/hands active
- Hold Breath while sighted (Hold Shift Button) to increase stability
- Separate Toggle for Sprint or Run (default sprint) when holding Shift button
- Single Press T to dive (fixed), single press T while crouched in secured Zone to receive treatment
- Weapon Proximity detection, auto lowers when barrel blocked
- New Game Mode: Clear
- New Spawn Option for all modes: Continuous or once per Round with time limit
- 2 new dm maps, dm_school, dm_motel(WIP), play with DM or TDM
- AI unleashed

This really needs more attention. Could easily be one of the very best source mods with some assistance in terms of mapping and art.

I can't select anything but the basic weapons (M16/AK74 for assault, MP5 for medic, Scout for sniper etc.) for each class, but I have "Escalation" set to 0 and start set to red.

Ballistic trace is awesome, didn't know it did internal too.

We set up a game like that but without reducing the escalation value and it worked for us, try that.

Set it to 5 instead of 0.

Yeah I'm occupationCS's new art director/concept artist
I'm gonna try to get the interface more pleasant to the eye before the patch.
Also this is likely the last full version of occupation CS, it'll change settings and take a turn into more sci-fi stuff.
Basicalyl it'll get art direction, I got some possible art paths concept arted out, but I'm not the best.
I hope to become a contributing part of the occupation team to help in creation of this amazing mod.

DO NOT WANT
The appeal of this mod for me is the quasi-realistic setting - with bullet physics and wound calculation. The last thing I want this to turn into is another sci-fi shooter - we can all get that elsewhere.
I would much rather the game expand in its current setting than take a new path.
Easy now..
We're not going full-blown sci-fi with lazers phazers energy shields and other silly stuff, only armor and envoirement designs would be really influenced. Weapons will remain mostly untacticooled and same and game will function essentialy similiar.
And so far it's still undescided

I just talked to Joff and they are still working on MP, so once they release the dedicated server files I'll host a server for you guys.
Why sci-fi when the modern look fits it already? A clean HUD but besides that...
More maps, better movement, more calibers and more guns; that is I think the game needs.
I think .22 caliber weapons would be incredibly entertaining :)
same here. An american 180 would be hilarious.
I'd like something along the lines of a FAL, because battle rifles are hilarious in this game.
The greatest battle rifle AR10 is never featured anywhere :c

Nice to see that my thread is still going strong. :)
Though, I think a new start may be better, so one of the Devs can keep a track on their updates and update the thread accordingly.
That HUD is the best HUD I have ever seen. No really, I love that HUD!
