This is really fun but I feel like if they increased the base movement speed on all the characters it would be much more fast paced and fun.

Gilead fucking sucks [editline]26th January 2014[/editline] I found a game breaking glitch with the tank.
this game is pretty solid I'd like to see something else to do on the floors though, some other special rooms.
Said game breaking glitch.
Looks like you made the shot gun speed increase. How is it a glitch? What did it take for this to happen?
If you hold down fire and tap Shift really fast it registers as switching the weapon, letting you fire as fast as you can hit shift. In that video I set up a quick macro, but even without a macro it lets you fire ungodly fast with a shotgun.
Well, that there's a problem, though adding a short weapon equip animation for weapon draw should probably help.
Was uploaded a couple of months ago:
Yeah I was going to put that in the OP but I didn't know what you guys thought of TB so I left it out for the trailer instead.

Also I thought risk rooms would be what trap rooms ended to be. Quite interested what risk rooms are then
I don't know if it's just me, but i really am starting to hate games where everything all minecrafty/blocky
I don't know if it's just me, but i really am starting to hate games where everything all minecrafty/blocky
I can't say I feel the same but I know exactly what you mean... That kind of art style, if you want to call it that, can be done good and bad. It really depends on how the game makes use of it. I could definitely enjoy the game just the same if it wasn't built in this fashion. I know there's that cube world game that's hyped up but to my knowledge it actually makes use of the tiny blocks on your characters model, armor, weapons, etc... This game just looks blocky and doesn't use it to make itself stand out besides that. On another note... The game is definitely fun but it does get way too hard for me to deal with past like level 5 or 6. I have to say the fast flying skulls are just ridiculous to deal with if you don't get an item that increases your speed. :/
I was kind of hoping this would be a little more horror based. Eldritch is creepier than this is and it can still be pretty goofy looking sometimes.

Also I keep on getting items with slowdown, which is a death sentence on the Tank. No amount of high health will save you if you can't dodge anything.
David Bowie (crossbow) is probably my favourite character, decent speed and high damage.
So yeah, I managed to get to Level 7 and fight what I assume is the Final Boss, essentially Alma with bullet hell elements. When you have the infinite double jump that comes from having two double jump items, it really adds to the mobility factor that you so DIRELY need when facing later enemies, plus getting items that augment your bombs are a good help as Dynomite, or as he oughta be called, Tavish DeGroot. I mean, he has a sword and a grenade launcher, he's very much a Demoman. I think I understand the story and setting a bit better now, too. I'm guessing that the Nazis were performing experiments on the aforementioned Alma expy aboard some sort of big ship, then something went wrong (or right?) and the girl's twisted nightmares were brought into reality. Meanwhile, a captured Allied special forces agent (the player character) breaks out of containment, retrieves their confiscated weapons, and starts fighting the girl's demons, battling up through the decks and grabbing Nazi science projects until he finally encounters the girl and puts her out of her maddened misery. At least that's as much as I gathered. So whilst it was similar to Binding of Isaac even without the story and the girl, now I know the plot it seems even more like Isaac, especially with the whole thing about a child's twisted nightmares. I look forward to future content updates, one of which is probably not far off since they've said the 1.8 update is coming around Valentine's Day. Also, one thing I would probably like to see would be being able to use more than two weapons, or have multiple powerup slots. Some of the guns are kinda fun, yes, but when it's all your using you might not be able to deal with certain enemies as well as others. Plus using only one weapon all the time might get a bit boring. And one last thing is that maybe the game could do with unlocks that reward successful runs or getting certain item combos, something to keep completionists like myself hooked for longer...
