The Khajiit caravans basically are gypsy's. Just not as colorful. And without a wagon.
They're less Gypsy caravans, more desert traders without the camels. To fit in with Khajiits basically being Arabs except Cats.

I kinda like the JaySuS mod. Some of the weapons it adds are nice. I especially like the saber, though it seems he fucked up the blacksmithing page and there's a handful that are listed twice, while some are not listed at all.
A quick question about soul gems: If I had empty petty and grand soul gems, if I were to trap a petty soul, would it go into the petty or grand soul gem? i.e. do souls tend to go for the largest empty soul gem, or the one suitable for it's size?
It goes for the most appropriate size gem based on size of the soul I think. So if you have a petty and grand and you kill a wolf, it will fill the petty first.

no surprise, it's from redditt
Wow, Quick Reflexes is such a badass perk! Calmly jogging from Falkreath to Half-Moon Mill when suddenly I hear a skeleton behind me. I turn around, the bastard is going in for the offensive moves so I just equip my shield, turn around, hold up my shield JUST as the skeleton starts to swing, game goes into slow motion, block the hit, skelly is staggered, beautiful one hit kill.
I cried man-tears

Also I can't enjoy Skyrim anymore due to loading times of 2/3 minutes and retardedly low FPS all the time.
It ran fine when I first played it, it's just got progressively worse.

While its sort of weird the skeletons dont scale like pretty much everything else, its fun to faceroll into a crowd of skeletons and create giant showers of bones

I always figured it redgaurds were more like arabs/north africans (curvedswords), and the khajiit were more like something out of the Sahara/central africa
once the CK is released, the first mod I'm downloading is the one that fixes the weird scaling. I can kill 5/10 bandits in one hit at level 45, the rest take 50 arrows and ten slashes from a hammer that does 150 damage.

Yeah, in bandit groups at high levels some of them are made of paper while others fight like He-Man on steroids.

Yeah, I might give one a whack. If its like Oblivion it should take eternity to un-fuck all the level scaling.
I might try to create a variety of different enemies with less generic skillsets, like "bandit archers" or "bandit skirmishers" or "bandit footmen" with different weapons and different weapon skills. Maybe give them decent armor skills so their armor does something, and make their levels less dependant on the player. I made a similar mod for fallout new vegas and it turned out pretty good.
Its a shame though, this would feel more like a necessary chore than actually improving upon a system that is already good. The current scaling system is pretty unintuitive and annoying

That kinda annoys me when you go into a cave and think it is piss easy when you suddenly get met by a guy with a banhammer used to ban you from life.

The guard helmets are derivative from a number of dane-viking helmets, and yeah you can buy them

Would probably need to be modified though.
Imagine if they took the writing from Oblivion and the graphics and combat from Skyrim and joined them into a super Elder Scrolls game!
I mean, most of the skyrim quests are pretty dull. :v:
So I'm in [sp]Irkngthand[/sp] for the associated quest. I run across this loot cache mark, but there's no loot cache anywhere close? No chest or anything. Unless you consider a Fortify Strength and Restore Health potion on the ground beneath the pipes a "loot cache".

I'm streaming some skyrim. ( 720p & mic )

Going to be playing a battlemage khajiit.
so uhm I'm guessing we're gonna have to wait for the CK for someone to make a mod where you can see more than one weapon on your character? I remember using such mod on Fallout 3 (forgot the name of it) where it would also show some other weapons on your back ex. seeing your repeater on your back, knife on right leg while having your currently equipped pistol on your left leg
a cool example is that you're walking around town, your "equipped" settings are Unarmed but your still is still hangin' on your left and you have your trusty back-up dagger on your right. Beating up people with a sword visible!
The Creation Kit is one thing I don't want to wait for anymore. I'm sick of the fast travel transportation, I want the option to RIDE in the damn thing all the way to my location and talk to the driver. And if you hit mouse 1 you just skip it. I figure you can rig the animation for the intro and setup a script that the thing will follow based on the destination you choose.
I got my first decapitation with my warhammer :D
Took the head clean off of a Thalmor Justicar (well, I say clean, but it's a warhammer; it don't slice it off, it smashes it off)
Also, carted off absolutely everything I could find in Avanchzel (at least, that's how I think it's spelt). Over 1000 pounds, not including my own equipment. Took me and Lydia 3 trips to cart it all back. I left all my own stuff at home, so was running back and forth across Skyrim in nothing but my pants.
Got over 100 Dwarven metal ingots after smelting the smeltables, so crafted a bunch of Dwemer crap to enchant with the occupied soul gems I also found there. Now just travelling across Skyrim to find merchants that actually have gold left so I can sell them my crap.
Oh god I made Lydia into a fucking tank. I joined up with the Imperials and we were doing the [sp]Jagged crown[/sp] quest. Didn't even need anyone else. Just send in one kamikaze wolf and Lydia fallows with the mighty war axe of everything's bane while I conjure a steady flow of disposable blackup.
