It's good for making NPCs naked and killing Deadra and forsworn briarhearts by pickpocketing their heart.
I wonder how you manage to shove your hand in somebody's chest and pull out their heart without them noticing.
Wouldnt the sound of metal sliding out of a sheath and the instant feel of being lighter be a pretty dead giveaway. Especially with stuff like warhammers.
Well, honestly, I haven't actually seen a real sheath so I'm just using my imagination but basically the sheath with the weapon in - clipped onto the belt that's around the waist so if, for example, the target was sitting that would be pretty darn easy!
I really wish the people of Skyrim would realize that I am already trying to speak with someone, or that someone is speaking to me, and not interrupt us by walking in front of my face to tell me that you took an arrow in the knee. Take an arrow in the mouth and shut up.
I wonder how you manage to shove your hand in somebody's chest and pull out their heart without them noticing.
Never mind the fact that their buddies don't notice you punching into their chest and tearing their heart out.
http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:The_Cabin_in_the_Woods Really creepy story in Skyrim.
It misses a catch. Like "And when he looked at the sky he noticed the northern lights. Memory struck him. The laugh. He knew it. He knew it from when hunger had almost driven him and his companions into madness. From when they grabbed everything they could find. From when the only human to resist a group of armed, hungry soldiers was an old woman protecting the food she spared for her grand children. From when he saw the flames of her house under the glow of the Aurora Borealis.

What is it about the Elder Scrolls series that compels people to fill it with badly-made/copy-pasted porn/"beautiful x/y/z/etc" and anime mods? [editline]20th January 2012[/editline] About 3/4 of the Nexus' "recent activity" list is filled with mods that have sexy, beautiful or the name of some anime in the name. In other irrelevant drivel leaking from my keyboard posing as news: http://skyrimnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=6085 While the colours on this seem a bit off, i'm quite fond of it merely because it looks like the armour Maximus wears in Gladiator.

The Destroy the Dark Brotherhood! quest was anti-climatic as fuck, there was what, six guys? I had more trouble with draugr ruins.
The Destroy the Dark Brotherhood! quest was anti-climatic as fuck, there was what, six guys? I had more trouble with draugr ruins.
a shitty quest for making a shitty decision seems fair
a shitty quest for making a shitty decision seems fair
Not all people want to be part of the DB, besides, an [sp]ultra imperial player might not want to kill the Emperor, and so on.[/sp]
Could someone recommend some must-have, or simply good gameplay and graphics mods? I'm starting to lose the will to live by browsing through all the nexus files manually.
what kind of armor is good for mages? I want to start a Breton character using conjuration and alteration but light armor sucks I was wondering if there's a penalty to any of that for wearing heavy armor maybe I played too much Runescape as a young'un but I still have to ask

If you want to be like everyone else power level enchanting to 100 and enchant light or heavy armor with +magicka regen and -magicka cost.

okay that makes sense is there any way to quickly level enchanting without simultaneously monopolizing Skyrim's Iron Dagger industry or no, also is it even possible to play with only alteration and conjuration or would one-handed weapons be smart too
okay that makes sense is there any way to quickly level enchanting without simultaneously monopolizing Skyrim's Iron Dagger industry or no
You don't need to go smithing as well if you want to level enchanting; just enchant every single piece of crap you drag out of dungeons/loot from houses. There's tons of otherwise worthless shit lying about that you can slap an enchantment on and sell for a great profit. Anything wearable can be enchanted (unless it's quest-specific/already enchanted, of course)
I like fast travel but it should at least cost gold or something, like daggerfall. Just charging you a bit of gold based on how far you go would make sense, implying the use of carts, or staying in inns. Fast travel isnt really "travel" in practicality it's just a very slow teleport.
why would be go out of our way to walk somewhere, it is there for a reason and you don't have to use it either you have self control issues or you are really trying to immerse into this game too much
if you don't want to miss out from fast traveling then travel to a location at least halfway between you and your destination that's what I do at least
Or you could just use the carriages. If you need to get across the map and don't feel like hoofing it, journey to the nearest city and fork over 20-50 gold for the privilege of hoofing it from a city that's not as far away. The guy who drives the carriage will even make little quips about your destination of choice. ~~**IMMERSION**~~
I know, my favourite characters specialise in it. Pickpocketing, however, is practically worthless. NPCs generally don't carry much worthwhile on them that isn't easier to nick from a locked chest or shop stand.
I personally can't belive they axed a bunch of stealthy-style skills in Skyrim just so they could dedicate an entire skilltree to the act of pickpocketing. I'm pretty sure they never even had that as a skill in the older games - it was just integrated into sneak, where it makes sense. Why the fuck does pickpocketing need an entire skill in the same vien of being a master of destruction and two handed weapons? It would have been much better to have some kind of acrobatics skill you could do.
Now, I don't want to make any stupid joke about the arrow in the knee thing. But isn't it really fucking pretentious for those guards to say that they used to be an adventurer LIKE YOU. Like... really? You're the fucking jack of all trades dragonborn? No. You are nothing compared to me.
I remember some people going on about this girl is doing the 'oh its just LOoK AT ME IM A GIRL' thing. She's actually really nice, check out her Age of Aggression cover too, it's great.

Especially didn't like having to level it by bunnyhopping all across Cyrodiil/Morrowind. Plus, there wasn't much gameplay use to it; there aren't any windows you can climb through or other high-up, sneaky entrances (I would absolutely adore whoever adds things like this). In any case, Wuld allows one to traverse distances just too long for jumping. That being said, it'd have certainly been preferable to an entire pickpocket skilltree; though i'd have much preferred to see something like unarmoured return; then I could finally play as a NWN-esque monk.
The Destroy the Dark Brotherhood! quest was anti-climatic as fuck, there was what, six guys? I had more trouble with draugr ruins.
it gets you the blade of woe 10x faster though
