Best looking outfit for Khajiit is probably the Alik'r stuff. And you can't go wrong with good old fashioned steel with the novice hood.
so i showed my friend the balanced magic mod that's in the op and then he promptly called me a casual faggot for installing it after looking at the changed stats
Yep because skyrim is a hardcore rpg [editline]21st January 2012[/editline]
Dwemer ruins are the only kind of ruins that takes me and Lydia more than 1 trip to carry all the shit to market. It's mainly those scrap metal pieces; smelted over 100 Dwarven metal bars once. I didn't even have the perk to use them, I was going down the light armour tree.
Small dwemer metal plates have the highest weight to output ratio Dont bother with the big scrap pieces small dwemer plate/large plate/bent scrap: weight 2/output 3 = 1.5 ingots solid dwemer metal: weight 25/output 5 = .2 ingots It actually makes more sense to get the small scrap pieces than it makes to pick up the ingots themselves :v:
Fuck Rorikstead, every time i've went there a dragon has attacked me (about 6 fast travels and the time i discovered it). Earlier today i got there and found an elder dragon sitting on a roof waiting for me, only to have some named dragon pop up behind me the instance i spotted him. I was literally drowning in potions due to my character relying on sneaking. Also to above post leather bracers use the same materials but cost more, not sure if they give you the same XP though.
But, but.. i like fighting Ancient Dragons. Because badass blood-pumping music. I think going hunting and get leather will be more benefit than buying and making.
(Banded) Iron armor looks good with a novice hood too.
It clips in front though.
Fur Armor and Novice Hood master race
hunting animals to make leather for leather bracers is best because that will increase your weapons (and maybe armor too if you're getting bear and saber pelts). Also if you ever find a transmute ore spell it's great for taking iron ore and making it gold ore. Then you can smith jewelry (since you'll most likely be finding a lot of gems anyways), which has the benefit of making you lots of money fast as well as smithing skill.
Skyrim on High is SUPER DUPER FUCKING BEAUTIFUL: How do i know? [thumb]http://i.imgur.com/SRuLB.jpg[/thumb] Not to mention that igxpdx32.dll crashed before i can take a picture of the other guard. My laptop went into VGA mode... :v:

So on my new playthrough I am trying to play as a mage, but actually I don't know if I should use light armor or robes? Robes give huge bonuses, but light armor better protection. My enchanting sucks, therefore I prefer robes at the moment.
Light armor doesn't really have too much purpose for mages. I've always liked the "sorcerer" look of having a glorious set of heavy armor as a mage. If you raise your enchant you can enchant your armor to be about as good as the best robes, plus you can smith it to have a stupidly high armor value to protect yourself from barbarian peasants.

Just abuse enchanting and use armor.
Nice. [t]http://skyrimnexus.com/imageshare/images/2102930-1327115310.jpg[/t]
Pure mages are too fragile to warrant playing unless you like being a glass cannon who is weaker in every way to a warrior. Conjure an atronach, maybe frenzy an enemy, then whip out your enchanted mace and destruction spell to do some damage. its too big a chore with too little bang for your buck to be a pure pure mage. However if you dont want to use weapons, stealth mage is a fun playthrough. Im doing one with alchemy, conjuration, illusion and sneak wearing no armor and it's working very well, only use my dagger for poison delivery and the occasional sneak attack.

Ahhh, multiupload crashed just as I was finishing the download of Morrowind Overhaul v2. Anybody has another link? All I am missing is part 2, as the other parts were completed in time.
i feel like this game was really rushed to just be released on 11/11/11 there's numerous quest related bugs, only few light armors, can't smith and upgrade certain unique weapons without mods, destruction needed complete reworking, weapon speeds should've been improved in my opinion. i mean i just don't know what do you guys think

What's that, Unrelenting Force? You want to hide in combat by pretending that you're already shouting? That's okay, shouts are pretty useless anyway. What's that, Blood on the Ice? You want to break a world record for buggiest quest ever? That's okay. I'll just ignore you, sitting there in my quest log. What's that, dragon skeleton? You miss me so much you teleported onto my head? Um...that's okay, I guess. I'm not really into necromancy, though.
My only problem is that magic doesnt scale with your skill level like EVERY SINGLE OTHER SKILL. Come on, Bethesda
i wish the blade of woe just used a much more upgraded oblivion texture. it'd make it feel like the dagger was old and actually from cyrodill. besides, how does a blade just completely change form over 200 years?

It's a shame because the fur and hide armors are some of my favorites I've always hated bethesda's style of linear-upgrading armors where the next tier is superior in every way, and their DR armor formula sucks. I'd much prefer a damage threshold AND damage resistance system ala fallout 1 & 2. also protection being based on your skill (they started that in morrowind) makes absolutely no sense, does the material frigin harden as your skill improves? If you go up and smack a guy who's wearing a full set of daedric armor with a shitty iron sword and almost no skill, the thing should just bounce off him. That's what armor is supposed to do. Would be nice if the armor skills improved your mobility and gave you a variety of ulterior perks, as well as armor having both DT and DR instead of DR alone. The whole armor system needs a revamp IMO. At least in the mean time there's that upgraded smithing mod that lets you upgrade iron and leather stuff so its not trash
What the FUCK is wrong with these asshole Justicars. I suddenly started to get ganged by these pretty weak but annoying asswipes every (in game) day. What is the deal. I killed one high elf once for that daedric mission but thats it. Leave me alone Justicars! And also mercenary bandits, it seems like that every god damn NPC is hireing mercs for my head and they come in packs of 5 out of nowhere in full steel armor and two handed daedric blades. Fuck sake. And its always the same. I see a pack of mercenaries walking on the road past me. Im like "we are cool? We are cool guys? Okay we are cool, no wait you are now attacking me fffffff..."

Doesn't help much though when a deathlord is shaking off your fireballs like raindrops and charging you with his banhammer

I remember the supreme shock of the moment when me and stenvar helped some of those vigilant fuckwits take on a blooded vampire. Vampire rapes them both with absorb health spells as Im trying to kill it with fire, then it runs at me and beheaded me with a waraxe on the first attack. Luckily when playing a pure mage you get used to the site of people cleaving your head off or literally flattening you with a warhammer (at high levels). Until you get summon dremora lord of course, then you get used to the sight of the dremora beheading everything within a 200 meter radius
Probably late but :v: http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Lore:Banker%27s_Bet
