I remember the supreme shock of the moment when me and stenvar helped some of those vigilant fuckwits take on a blooded vampire. Vampire rapes them both with absorb health spells as Im trying to kill it with fire, then it runs at me and beheaded me with a waraxe on the first attack. Luckily when playing a pure mage you get used to the site of people cleaving your head off or literally flattening you with a warhammer (at high levels). Until you get summon dremora lord of course, then you get used to the sight of the dremora beheading everything within a 200 meter radius
Hahaha I can just image a skinny looking Breton mage saying "look whose head is flying off now!" to all those who bullied and decapitated him.
Is "Wars in Skyrim III" any good? I like the idea because I want to get in more fights, but the author comes off as kind of an idiot by the garbled text of the description.
Hahaha I can just image a skinny looking Breton mage saying "look whose head is flying off now!" to all those who bullied and decapitated him.
Well that's more or less how it went and looked It sucked particularly since as pure mage was my first playthrough, the first beheading finisher I saw was me being beheaded by a vampire. it crushes the spirit :[ On steam everybody is messaging me like "aww yeah I just beheaded some dude, it was AWESOME" but my first time was "aww what the fuck I just got beheaded, fuck this"
is there a mod that allows you to completely improved special weapons? for example; letting me improve my nightingale armour to legendary, not just flawless.

I am using "Rainbow" mode and it isn't too obtrusive, but I still notice every once in a while an encounter with enemies I normally wouldn't see.
The first time I got beheaded I thought, "Aw what the hell, this isn't Dead Space, I'm not supposed to have body parts cut off upon death."
The first time I got beheaded I thought, "Aw what the hell, this isn't Dead Space, I'm not supposed to have body parts cut off upon death."
I got confused, since I play as an argonian, and argonians don't have decapitated head models. It just looks like an invisible ball of horns, teeth and blood.
There's an assload of light armors, it's just a shame that you can't smith them so they wind up being worthless. It's a shame because the fur and hide armors are some of my favorites I've always hated bethesda's style of linear-upgrading armors where the next tier is superior in every way, and their DR armor formula sucks. I'd much prefer a damage threshold AND damage resistance system ala fallout 1 & 2. also protection being based on your skill (they started that in morrowind) makes absolutely no sense, does the material frigin harden as your skill improves? If you go up and smack a guy who's wearing a full set of daedric armor with a shitty iron sword and almost no skill, the thing should just bounce off him. That's what armor is supposed to do. Would be nice if the armor skills improved your mobility and gave you a variety of ulterior perks, as well as armor having both DT and DR instead of DR alone. The whole armor system needs a revamp IMO. At least in the mean time there's that upgraded smithing mod that lets you upgrade iron and leather stuff so its not trash
i know what you mean was bethesda really that lazy to add a light ebony, dwarven or iron armor? or did their deadline get the best of them? oh cool 2000 posts

We must keep up with the super duper awesome release date I came up with. Its a must!"
Ma'Jiik is starting a journal today. Ma'Jiik is kajiit. Ma'Jiik is very proud of his heritage. Many people are creeped out because of Ma'Jiik's curse. He was cursed to have no head, you see. Today, Ma'Jiik got a helmet to put over his head-cavity. With lots of iron and fancy dangles, people aren't so afraid of Ma'Jiik. It is a good day.
Load a save and go to Nelacar?
I finished the quest ages ago. Like a long time ago.
I seem to always take the hard path in this game, I'm playing a pure mage without investing in enchanting or smithing.
Why is it that Dragons are the least of my worries? Bears and Trolls give me a harder time than Dragons...
Skyrim Pure Mage Gameplay
I want to make a Saiyan mod, and I'm sure it would be pretty easy with the creation kit.
Why is it that Dragons are the least of my worries? Bears and Trolls give me a harder time than Dragons...
You're Dovahkiin not Bearahkiin or Trollahkiin :v:
Why is it that Dragons are the least of my worries? Bears and Trolls give me a harder time than Dragons...
because bethesda
Smithing/Enchanting just breaks the game, making items should be much harder. I'm having much more fun ignoring them both while playing, finding new loot is so satisfying.
It always puzzles me how when you are blocking with a weapon or shield and when an enemy hits you, you receive health damage. It would make more sense if it depleted your stamina instead. A better idea in my opinion would be that if you are blocking but have none or little stamina, then maybe the damage would instead deplete your health. Same should apply for when enemies block your attacks.
Why is it that Dragons are the least of my worries? Bears and Trolls give me a harder time than Dragons...
Everything becomes easy mode when you realize that Clear Skies has the same stagger effect as Unrelenting Force with only a 5 second cool-down.
Why is it that Dragons are the least of my worries? Bears and Trolls give me a harder time than Dragons...
Ummm, Deadly Dragons Mod on Hardcore?? Anyway to remove the Bloom/Glow effects from the game?
That mod actually looks pretty damn good, thanks for the link!
Thanks to that mod I've finally used a shield for more than 5 minutes in my entire Elder Scrolls career (Morrowind, Oblivion, Skyrim) [editline]21st January 2012[/editline]
Ummm, Deadly Dragons Mod on Hardcore??
Do want.
http://www.skyrimnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=6690 I made it into a real thing.
Figured I could spend a soul on [sp]Elemental Fury[/sp]. So I equip two daggers and HOLY SHIT. Think of my fun in this game a slowly declining line which shorty spikes up when I find an interesting place. Well, this line just shot through the roof when I tried this out. I feel like some sort of god when I activate it. Time to put some points in dual flurry.
Krosis can't see you until he fully gets out of his coffin i think, unless you are straight infront of him, same goes for most draugr that pop out of those. Bears are assholes though, Muffle + 100 sneak + sneak enchants = Bear detects you 2 months into hibernation while you sneak up behind him at a snails' pace.
I think all wildlife has absurd detection abilities, especially the neutral wildlife. Fucking irritating as hell to try and get the jump on an elk, and it runs off into the sunset at the speed of light.
Pff, I just made a "gold room" in my solitude home where I make giant piles of gold ingots Take that, economy
Thanks for reminding me about the spell that turns iron into silver into gold. Time to do something about all that iron I have lying about that isn't forging iron daggers.
Fuck the Thalmor. Spent 20 minutes killing one of three roaming the countryside, only to find that their Elven armour is shittier than my leather armour.
The elven light armour (only difference from normal elven armour is that it's worse) that is dropped by the thalmor is good only for selling. Forge yourself a proper set, and the gilded elven chest armour.
is there a mod that allows you to completely improved special weapons? for example; letting me improve my nightingale armour to legendary, not just flawless.
Lost Art of the Blacksmith, Smithing Perk Overhaul and Weapons and Armor Fixes. All 3 of those massively overhaul all things related to smithing, and fixes the myriad bugs with unique items. Stupid question here, but what do I use to smelt ores?
