Is there a mod that makes it so you can see your equipped items on your body?
Like, the Blade of Woe on your back?

(one handed sword doesn't have the sound though iirc)
I'm such a newb, but Necromancer means you control like death creatures right? Even going through oblivion I didn't quite understand it.
Yeah, Skyrim has reanimation spells to use on corpses, Oblivion just had black soul gems.

Thanks! :buddy:
Thinking about what I'm going to do when the creation kit comes out.

I'm tempted to start working on a quest like the "Mehrunes Razor" quest from Oblivion.
For those of you who don't know what that quest was like, the player essentially had to dodge two factions who were in a conflict with each other in order to obtain a rare weapon at the end of the dungeon. Both factions were hostile to the player, which was cool.
I absolutely hate all Falmer when combined with mods that make the game harder. I swear, I just got finished killing to of them that were giving me trouble and just as I was about to heal up some fucker shot me in the back killing me making me start over fighting all three. Then when I jumped away to go heal safely I get shot mid-air dying and falling onto Bryjolf while he's trying to recover.
If you've got good sneak you're pretty much invisible to them unless you bump into them.
I wish the Stormcloaks/Imperials had different quest paths based on your playtype. A sneaky sneakington or a squishy wizard shouldn't be on the front lines. Mages could be put into more of a support role if their spells are that way inclined, thieves could infiltrate and sabotage enemy forts and encampments, and assassins could assassinate key targets to destablise the army.

I had originally planned on marrying an Argonian woman in Skyrim until I saw what they look like.

What do you guys think?
I know that it is a little bit noisier than the original, but the guy did include some nice details.
Oh I agree completely, the combat/magic fighting system is astonishing. The animations are great and the finishers are pretty cool also. I just don't like the actual system. They should have never went to a talent tree, and they should have never cut out classes. The reason why I found Morrowind so great was because I could create different characters and have them be the exact way that I want them to. In Skyrim the only thing different about characters is how much they progress in a certain skill tree. Imagine a game like World of Warcraft but without classes, and all you have is a talent tree.
I just feel like Skyrim was made for people who play Call of Duty.
All the freedom to do whatever you want makes you feel restricted?
What
Honestly I'm having more fun in skyrim than in any other elder scrolls game I've played. But that's just me, the freedom that no classes provides lets me make up my own and stick to them without having to go through a shitty GUI at the beginning of the game where you don't always know how useful each skill is.

What is this? Ald'rahn, tel mora, fields of kummu, DWEMER RUINS?
Can't wait for the CK to come out, making myself a smal wishlist of stuff I want to add/change/fix with the CK.
I'm only scared I won't be able to do much since my knowledge in such things is very limited, haven't really messed around with those sort of programs ever.

Yeah, that's why I started using realistic lighting. Considering that a lot of the cave hiding places become pitch black with I thought that it made sense that enemies wouldn't be able to see me if I was right next to them. It also makes it harder for me to spot enemies as well.

Because classes designed who are characters were. Skyrim makes me feel like my character has no depth. In Skyrim you can either be a rouge, warrior, mage or just a cluster fuck of skills and wielding dual swords, because that is what every person I have ever seen play has done. I felt like Skyrim had very limited re playability due to the fact that no matter what I want to think of my character as, he will just end up wearing heavy armor and wielding dual swords because it is the over powered way to beat the game. I can say tho that I was impressed by the quests this time, there was a lot more diversity in them and wasn't like Oblivion's mundane and repetitive quests. I am OK with Skyrim because it is a Elders Scroll game, but I cant stand it as a game. It is just too dumbed down and way too influenced by the mechanics of other modern games and was developed for the mentality of a Call of Duty player.

If you can't play more than one way you need to get some self control. I've gone through the entire game as an insane orc who only wears fur armor and uses woodcutter's axes(also volendrug because orc) and uses Anise's cabin as a hiding place.
And this is like, my third playthrough.

I still don't understand why people want their females to look like porn stars and/or hollywood actresses in a beauty commercial.
They just stand out so awkwardly from everything else I just can't see how it can be enjoyable to look at no matter how hot they think they look.

That having been said, I find nothing more frustrating than a game that has the player skill themselves into a corner, where the only way out is to start a new character. In Skyrim, there's always a way to compensate for bad decisions that doesn't involve a restart or spending gold on hiring someone who is the very specific rock to the other guy's scissors. Plus there's less absurdly specific skills, albeit at the cost of some skills i'd like to see back.
[editline]22nd January 2012[/editline]
And I highly doubt anyone who plays Call of Duty fanatically would even get past 10 minutes in Skyrim; saying it's dumbed down for them would be an insult to even the most brain-dead vegetable of a person.

And what would be stopping you from picking the most overpowered class in any other RPG?
