What button do I press to take screenshots? The control section in the options menu seems very tight-lipped about it.

F11 takes a Steam screenshot. It was Print Screen before, but I suppose they thought there was no point including that control with Steam screenshots available.

Printscreen but I suggest using some other program as Skyrim saves them in .bmps which can take up some space

Honestly I didn't even notice it was MLP until someone posted that it was MLP. I thought it was one of the in game goats wearing armor.

So I'm doing a new playthrough as a "guard" class character. Specializing light armor, one handed, block, and archery. I try to wear actual guard's clothes as much as I can. I'm currently wearing some from Whiterun. It's pretty fun, actually.

2. Install it
3. Open it, click the button to the right of Driver Version
4. Find Skyrim (should be under Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim or something like that) and click the window with plus sign button to add tesv.exe to the profile
5. Set Ambient Occlusion Compatibility to Skyrim (0x00000029)
6. Lower down on the page, set AO setting to whatever you want (I use performance without too much of a hit), and set AO usage to Enabled.
7. Save.

There's a bunch of good mods that balance dual casting. I think the one I use changes it to 2.5 times the damage for 1.7 times the magicka or something.

I've only just noticed that killing Thalmor gives you a bounty, in Whiterun and Falkreath, at least. Started yet another character, this time a High Elf mage (aren't they all?), and killed passing Thalmor to sell their armour and disenchant their robes (would keep one set for myself, but no magicka regen bonus). Got 40 bounty for killing a group of Thalmor, when some Imperial dudes were passing and thus were witnesses. Didn't bother killing them, only 40 gold, anyway. Did the same in Whiterun, no other witnesses so that bounty got dropped when the last Thalmor hit the ground.

Oh man, those damned people who enjoy putting time and effort into creating something of good quality!
Painting and decorating My Little Pony toys in completely unfitting ways seems a perfectly valid thing to enjoy doing. You wouldn't even have to like My Little Pony (Old or new) to do it. It's taking something typically associated with small girls and turning it on its head.
