Well, got the SSAO forced through NVIDIA Inspector on the Quality setting, honestly cannot tell the difference. Does someone have comparison screenshots handy?
It's old my little pony. People have been doing this stuff for decades. I don't see how a recent cartoon with shitty fans instantly makes everything related the entire franchise shit.
it's probably because mlp is marketed for small children
Atleast he isn't spending his time making kawaii anime big tits mods for skyrim.
I, for one appreciate those mods. Although I would never dream of creating one.
don't think i ever saw an actual rapemod for oblivion, couldn't even find a simple horsecock
Why would you be looking for a horse cock?

There's a mod that makes you require certain schematics before you can craft weapons/armors. I think it was released very little time ago, but I forgot where I saw it. Was it here? If not, does anyone know what mod I'm talking about?
yes its called smithing perks
I think he means you need to learn how to make something to smith it. You don't immediately know that iron + leather strips = iron dagger, you have to have the schematic.
I think he means you need to learn how to make something to smith it. From what I remember, the mod description said you needed to buy schematics from stores and the high level stuff (Daedric, Ebony) custed ALOT of gold, and only one person sold it.
Today was a very good day for Ma'Jiik. As he had spent all his money on the fancy new armor, which, is very flexible, Kajiit went up to the Jarl to see if he could get a job doing something. Fortunately, the Jarl was very impressed by Ma'Jiik's new armor! He said his armor was that of a mighty warrior! So he sent Ma'Jiik off to some cave to deal with some pesky bandits. Ma'Jiik's armor was very good at helping him not get killed. When Kajiit came back, the Jarl gave him lots of money, and a fancy ring! Oh it made Ma'Jiik quite happy! Kajiit was glad his armor is very flexible, as he likes to dance. Things are looking up for Ma'Jiik. Maybe someone will tell where the sorcerer who cursed Ma'Jiik is! Then Ma'Jiik can finally beat him up and break the curse.

What programs can you use to model or texture or animate for Skyrim anyway? I want to have a go at making khajiit look more like cats like they did in Morrowind and less like people with fur.

My guess is .obj or .mdl. So... You've all Max, Maya, Blender, etc. Have fun.
Game actually looks pretty decent on my system after a number of tweaks. Tends to slow down at points quite drastically, but soon will narrow down and eliminate the cause. Will get some daytime shots tomorrow. Well, if it slows down at places like Markarth, that's due to ALL THE PARTICLES. It absolutely kills the CPU, which kills the framerate. I do wonder how the Xbox version can run the area flawlessly when it cripples my identically-specced PC.
It seems to stutter significantly in Whiterun whenever I turn around. If I stay focused on the same area it runs smoothly. I'm guessing it's a memory problem, not enough space to store all the graphical data of things around it so when I turn, it has to desperately root around in the hard drive for the thing it's supposed to show next, or something like that. [editline]23rd January 2012[/editline] but time for me to sleep, 2:30 in the morning and really fucking tired.

Being a Gamebryo game, it uses .NIF files. As of current, the only program I know that can support the Skyrim version is 3DS Max; blender's NIFscripts will be updated to support it, but they aren't currently.
