I still feel bad about when I finished the Dark Brotherhood storyline. [sp]The Emperor was all like, " I will face my death with dignity," and I was all, "You're an honorable man." and I shot him with an arrow but my bow wasn't very good and when it hit him he screamed "GODS HAVE MEEEEERRRRRCYYYYY" and I pulled out my dagger and started stabbing him while screaming "OH GOD I'M SORRRRRRYYYYYYYYY"[/sp]
I really hate the members in the dark brotherhood especially the little girl do i get to kill them at some point
Being a good guy is hard. Molag Bal [sp]guilt tripped me into finding Boethiah's worshipper because he was being held prisoner, then when I returned he gets trapped again and my options were to leave him there or beat him to death three times with a rusty mace. I chose the mace.[/sp] Then some kid wants me to visit his old orphanage [sp]and kill the owner. So I visited the place and after talking to her, the kids and the other (kinder) lady that works there; I find there's no other solution to the quest but to carry out the hit. So I did that and felt like a bad person when these kids were so happy and inspired because of her death. I loaded the game, and now my options are to leave these kids in the hands of a nasty lady or kill them in front of her and teach them that murder is the right thing to do.[/sp] Such is life in Skyrim.
I know what you mean. It's really getting on my nerves.
I really hate the members in the dark brotherhood especially the little girl do i get to kill them at some point
[sp]There's a quest where you kill them if you kill astrid when you get trapped in that shack[/sp]

I used to kind of sympathize with the Argonians in Morrowind because they were all but an oppressed people there, and along with Khajiit made up a lot of slaves. Then I found out before the events of Skyrim that Black Marsh invaded and occupied Morrowind. I don't feel sorry for Argonians anymore.

[sp]I went into that room with my bow strung. When the loading screen was done the game automatically shot my bow. I nailed an arrow, literally, between his eyes before he uttered his first word. I almost died laughing before I reloaded a save to do it the boring way.[/sp]
So, after I [sp]killed Paarthurnax[/sp] I kept all of his remains lying around in my house. Is that weird?
So, after I [sp]killed Paarthurnax[/sp] I kept all of his remains lying around in my house. Is that weird?
Just a tad.
Has anyone met a reveler? They are so nice...
So, after I [sp]killed Paarthurnax[/sp] I kept all of his remains lying around in my house. Is that weird?
You monster.
We need a mod that adds, caravans, wandering villagers, and bandits that rob them. So that I can actually play a proper thief, instead of 'BRAKE INTO HAUS, STEEL EVERYTHING, REPEAT'.
You monster.
Don't get me wrong, it was in mourning. He was a cool guy.
Talking to [sp]crispy Astrid was very awkward[/sp]
I thought it was so strange how her eyes and lips were really bright and perfectly mobile and the rest of her looked like burnt hot dogs.
Don't get me wrong, it was in mourning. He was a cool guy.
Then why'd you kill him?
Then why'd you kill him?
Wasn't it for the main quest?
Wasn't it for the main quest?
You didn't have to. [sp]Is there even any benefit for killing him? Do the blades have any use at all past telling you about dragonrend (and their cool swords)?[/sp]
You didn't have to. [sp]Is there even any benefit for killing him? Do the blades have any use at all past telling you about dragonrend (and their cool swords)?[/sp]
FUCK.

now, being bored with skyrim (the questline are absolutely horrible compared to oblivion), and being on my second playthrough (of all questline+ a lot of sidequests on both char). I followed the guide at the end of "console" article of the UESP. I started as a Nord bandit and I'm going to massacre town after town for pure bloodthirst. (Master difficulty+thalmor justicar casting spell= OUCH)
In the second picture your face looks like a mask
In the second picture your face looks like a mask
Yeah his brow is a little fucked up. If anyone asks it was a disfiguring dragon attack. Only now do I notice his screwed up nose as well. :pwn:
So Skyrim is pretty much my first TES game. I sort of ignored Oblivion when it came out because of all the negativity towards it even though I personally never played Morrowind. This time around I ignored the hate and went for Skyrim and I pretty much love it. Should I go back and try Oblivion and Morrowind? I've been looking them up a bit and I'm bummed that acrobatics didn't make it into Skyrim. Also, inferior graphics aren't really a problem for me.
Skyrim is the "best" in the series as far as technical prowess and actual moment-to-moment gameplay goes IMO. It's environment design is also pretty great (for the most part). Oblivion is basically like Skyrim but worse in every single way. However it did two things better: quest design overall (especially in terms of length and substance) was modestly better not counting the shit mainquest, and the RPG system behind the game was much better implemented. I don't want to say Oblivion's quests are great, because they rely heavily on fast travel and generally the stories behind them are rather piss. But, they have substance, which Skyrim quests don't have (even if the premise behind them is much better in Skyrim). Morrowind IMO is the best in the series in everything but moment-to-moment gameplay. It has a very deep and rewarding RPG system (even if some skills are useless and its annoying to powerlevel if you are the powergamer type), one of the best enviornment designs in a game period, great atmosphere and open-world exploration gameplay, tons of lore/backstory, and a great storyline. Only issues? Combat is literally awful gameplay wise, the gameplay mechanics rely heavily on imagination on the player's part, a lot of smaller quests lack creativity from a gameplay perspective (but they are all very well paced and thought out from a story/enviornment/lore perspective), and the main quest takes way too long to develop. Do the blades have any use at all past telling you about dragonrend (and their cool swords)?[/sp]
Yes, well kinda. [sp]You can do a sidequest for the Blades to "rebuild the blades" for delphine, in the sense that you just recruit 3 people to join the blades and you can have them as companions. I'm pretty sure Esbern gives out quests to hunt down dragons too. I'm pretty sure Delphine has other uses too beyond that quest, but I can't remember.[/sp]
:words:
You just summed up everything I love and hate about Morrowind. Glad to see people still get what made that game so great. That and the actual setting of Morrowind was so much better than Oblivion's relatively generic fantasy setting. I want to see Ash wastes, giant mushrooms and swamps again. Just sneaking through the Ratways as my Argonian, thief, dual-wield daggers only character, when I came across Gian the Fist. Now, my previous character was quite a high level when I first encountered Gian, so I didn't expect him to be that difficult. [thumb]http://i.imgur.com/eiPp9.jpg[/thumb] OW [thumb]http://i.imgur.com/QMfti.jpg[/thumb] NO [thumb]http://i.imgur.com/ocYqH.jpg[/thumb] Fuck you Gian.

[img_thumb]http://i.imgur.com/xbXcn.jpg[/img_thumb] I fucking hate dogs in this game sometimes.
