Yeah, Hammerfell is the one with the desert (Alik'r desert, just looked it up). Also the Redguards in Skyrim wear Arabian costumes, which is interesting cause in previous games they were always just black Imperials basically. Maybe Bethesda is setting something up?
...like a remake of Redguard?

There would probably be humans here and there, mostly Redguard. I'm wondering is if we'd see any Argonians or Orcs. Argonians already have a tough enough time in Skyrim so I can't even begin to imagine how they'd handle Elsweyr's hot climate, but I'm not sure about Orcs.
You're fucked. Try not to let your save get bigger than 20MB I think it was, Beth still haven't fixed it.
I've got over 120 hours on one save, its gone up to 40mb and i've had no problems.

I thought they looked kinda arabian in Daggerfall?

Oasis's, caves, mountains, valleys, "sand-draugrs" grabbing you from beneath
Well they could do a lot of interesting stuff with it, like how people thought Skyrim was just going to be endless snow. Although I could be completely wrong about Elsweyr's georgraphy and stuff, I'm not a lore expert I'm just going off what I think would be artistically amazing.
You have the creation kit(soon)
Do eet.
If anyone wants any mods added to the OP feel free to send me a link via PM
Whenever I make mega-threads and things like this I'm always astounded by the number of views. It's just striking to think that the equivalent of a small city has read what I've typed out
I did a character focused on enchanting/heavy armor/restoration/one-handed. Heavy armor became kind of redundant because of the restorations spells :v:
Even though I hear a lot of people saying that the heavy armor tree sucks anyway, so I'll keep going with restoration and I'm not going to improve anything on the heavy armor tree. Sounds right?
fallout new vegas map was WAY too small
Are you kidding me?
I've played it 160+ hours and I still haven't found everything and it's FUCKING HUGE.
Also a shitton of content.
Stop whining.
fallout new vegas map was WAY too small
Invisible walls practically surrounded mountains. The only places I felt like I could freely travel through were roads covered in Deathclaws.

At least 25% and more of that map can't be explored without console commands.
Most locations are just loot containers or a pack of Ghouls standing around doing nothing.
After the Sarthaal quest when you are asked to go talk to the arch mage steal all of his shit, there's some good (filled) soul gems and potions there. He doesn't give a flying fuck if you steal it right infront of his eyes.

That's what mods are for. There are a couple very good mods that remove the invisible walls and patch up any missing terrain so you can explore everything on that map that's not a 90 degree angle.
This is really off topic though. Besides, bethesda had nothing to do with Vegas and the map design on any desert themed game coming from them would be a lot higher quality.

...Or wait till its actually yours?
Spoiler...
it should be painfully obvious that that's what happens in the end
I wonder what they were doing for those several years. Skyrim can be summed up in one word - repetitive.
Really if I swapped "Skyrim" with "Oblivion" in any of your posts, it'd look like some pretentious morrowind fan's post I could have dug up on 4chan.
That's a complaint I have about the armors in this game. There's very little aesthetic consistency between them, which makes switching to higher tier armor sets a bit shitty since you're basically ruining your character's 'look'. For example, Iron and Orcish look very rugged, and Steel and Steel Plate look more refined, but they still all share a rather 'dark age' aesthetic, but then Dwemer armor makes you look like a space marine, Ebony and Daedric make you look like you're from a JRPG, and let's not even begin about Dragonbone.
I find myself having this issue, too. With my orc barbarian, I never got rid of my fur armor because everything else looked way too ornate and fancy.
I kind of wish they went for a more "realistic" style TBH. My favorite armors in the game are the guard armor and iron armor, just because they look down to earth, they look like armor that someone could make and afford.
With the exception of glass, ebony, daedric, and maybe steel plate armor (the three armors that should be very fancy and ornate) it would have been nice if the other armors had more of a realistic and crude look to them.

I doubt it, Khajiit were enslaved by the Dunmer for centuries. And Khajiit, like the Argonians, are not a very forgiving species.

I'm sorry, but I think her covers are horrible. Her voice is mushed out by all the reverb effects, and her guitar sounds really... I don't really know how to describe it, but I wouldn't exactly describe it as good. As far as I'm concerned the only reason these get more views than the other shitty Skyrim covers is because "oh look it's a cute girl hurr".
But yeah, fuck the Stormcloaks.
So guys, any idea how to properly use 1-handed weapons? Because they feel very gimped compared to 2-handed or magic.

I was going to say the same thing, but got bored and went to get something to eat since I haven't eaten yet.
Yeah, I don't like her.
Damn I'm just thinking how amazing Elsweyr could be. Imagine an Arabian type world, at night especially it could be incredible. Stuff like this:

Actually Hammerfell is supposidly closer to "arabia", while Elswyer is supposed to be some kind of mix between the American west (lots of canyons) and african deserts. I'm sure it has plenty of sand still though, judging by how much the kitties love it. There are also supposidly some jungles too in there.
Though I don't doubt that there are some arabian-style things too.
This seems a bit dull lately and that video got my spirits up. So how about a sing-along?

She really gives off the "give me attention I'm a girl" vibe, even if she's not incredibly blatant about it. Also the thought of the Elder Scrolls/Nexus forum communities jerking over these makes them really dirty and unnerving.

You can also get all that stuff [sp]when you become archmage[/sp]
whoops I'm late
I'm starting over, I guess. All my saves have been unable to load (I reinstalled the game, and now its giving me the "this relies on some content etc" and then right when I load it it CTDs" so I guess I'm doing a new character.
To prove all of you wrong, I'm being a full mage Argonian. Mostly destro, some conjuration. Should I document my adventures?

Is there a mod the gives you more skill points each time you level up. It's really bittersweet when you level up in the 40s or 50s and you only get 1 point for all that work.

There's a mod which lets you use dragon souls as perk points. Pretty nice if you have a few souls and no shouts to use them on.

Yes. It requires SKSE.
Perk Points:http://www.skyrimnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=1367
I use this though, because it's a little more balanced. It allows you to have more perk points when you get to a certain level, say 20, then more when you get to another level, like 50. It requires script dragon though.
