If I ever see the Summerset Isles, I hope it's with an army at my back and a good sword at my side. I'm really hoping we get to take the fight to the Thalmor at some point.

A lot of people hate the Dominion, all of the provinces need to work together with or without the empire's help and fight the 2nd Great War.
On topic of then next TES guys (Way to early to even think about this to be honest :/) I personally would like to believe that it will be Valenwood and Summerset Isles (The Dominion)
That may be hard to put just those two in the same game considering they're separated by cyrodiil, morrowind and an ocean.
what would happen if you were to be a nord/dark elf and had over 100% resistance against frost/fire? would you gain health or no
Resistances are capped at 80 percent.

Uh, no, Alinor (Sumurset) is just west off the coast of Valenwood.
When the CK comes out, could someone make a mod that allows the camera to be unlocked during kill sequences? Or, for that matter, a mod that makes anyone headless, including the player?

Valenwood and Summerset Isles separated by Morrowind and Cyrodiil? A small ocean yes.
Elswyer and Valenwood, I think, would be the logical choice for the next game. The Aldmeri Dominion would be the main government, instead of the Empire (of course). There would be the lush jungles of Valenwood or the "badlands"-esque desert of Elsweyr. The many kingdoms of the Khajiits or the Bosmer that are against the Dominion could also be in the game.
I think it's a fair comment to say that Bethesda do well at macro stuff. Big sweeping vistas, hundreds of characters, tons of quests, lots of items, but they're less good at the micro stuff; characters with strong personalities, in depth conversation systems, highly detailed non-linear quests and the like.
That's not necessarily a criticism, just my opinion on Bethesda's games. That said, Skyrim is a lot better at the micro detail than Oblivion in my opinion.
I'm tempted to excuse Bethesda for the many bugs and other problems with the game simply due to the sheer scale; such a massive amount of content is surely hard to balance and keep account of bugs in. But I can't, some of these bugs are so blatantly obvious it's inexcusable. That having been said, it's not broken to the point it's unplayable, far from it: so it's not something i'm going to put rusty nails through their urethras for.

Except from blood on the ice of course.
I finally got a kill animation on a Dragon, after 100hrs of playtime:
I got a kill animation on the first dragon I ever fought and get it more often than not. It's really fucking annoying.
But I guess it's harder since you dual wield daggers or whatever so you take smaller amounts of damage on each hit whereas I come with my one handed mace and just skullfuck the shit out of everything.

Shit, the last Map I saw was almost completely reversed version of that. Weird.
I want more mods.
The current ones aren't that great imo

Why is it too early. No it's not. I'm thinking of it right now. I'm even thinking of TES 7. I want it to have hover-horses and the ability to play as a Dragon

Soon
Snip
When the CK comes out I plan to learn some simple mapping so I could make indoor movie sets for a Frankenstein video project I plan on making with a friend for school.
I haven't done the Civil War questline yet, and will soon start Season Unending. Does that make it impossible to do the Civil War QL?
What the fuck is up with skyrim nexus, the pictures and downloads aren't loading, half the stuff is missing.
I shamelessly stole the master robes/redguard hood combo for my assassin/illusion mage character. I also love seeing finishing moves go off just as I uncloak.
I am just happy that i am not the only one who likes this combination. I am also playing an assassin type, thus you do not need that much of armor. Unless you fuck up, of course.
so are there any neat-o mods I might have missed anyone could recommend
I mostly have visual and gameplay improvement mods but I feel like I can have a bit more fun now

I want both of the beast provinces too be honest, although I do want too see how beautiful Bethesda would make the Summerset Isles.
Elsyer/Valenwood are my most saught after provinces to play in, but there is absoutely no way they would do anything other than Summerset Isles for the next game, considering all the buildup with the Thalmor and the fact that it being an island makes it reasonably easy to plan out its locations without having to worry about boundaries.
Summerset Isle is probably the next most reasonable choice. A venture into Elsweyr would be fun but the whole Khajiit homeland would be far too strange to be the center of a main series game.
what i would like to see is an elder scrolls game that deals with province to province relations
elsweyr and valenwood are at the heart of a thalmor conflict, and they're right next to eachother - it would be awesome if you could go to both provinces and actively hop the border
that would be one cool elder scrolls game
My friend found morrowind in his old game box, and he has never seen it before. He and i did a skype call with him playing it and me telling him shit about the elder scrolls. As soon as he got to Balmora? we both forgot what the fuck he had to do.
Then open up the journal and look? It's really not that hard to do.
I personally don't believe that we will see the end to an entire government which has control over most of Tamriel in some DLC, of course this is Bethesda we are talking about here...
The Dominion's power is GREATLY overstated by fans. They don't control "most of Tamriel", not even close. The Empire still controls most of Cyrodiil, Skyrim and parts of Morrowind (potentially, I'm not sure).
The Khajiits rule Elsweyr as an independant nation, though they are a client state of the Dominion.
Hammerfell rejected the White-Gold Concordate and became an independant nation, kicking out both the Empire AND the Dominion.
Black Marsh were the first to secede from the Empire and capture most, if not all, of Morrowind.
Sure the Thalmor have 'advisors' within the Empire but with enough time the Empire could raise a large enough army to hold the Dominion off, they did technically win the last war with the Dominion. Though we definately wont see an "end of the Dominion" DLC.

And this from a guy who supported the Stormcloaks on the only run where I did some of the Civil War.
I for one would like to see more Argonian stuff. And this thread has also given me a thirst for Morrowind
lydia is the new adoring fan im serious

lydia has been my companion since the beginning of the game and i reload save games if she dies

Not pathetic enough.

Of course, but by the next game depending upon Bethesda's decision, the dominion could easily build in power, its apparent now that they aren't a super super power, but they ARE gaining power and control, quickly, and if the Legion were to die (Note that it is a dying power) then the Dominion would obviously take over its remaining territories.
lydia is the new adoring fan im serious
Far from it; not nearly as irritating or useless. (also, you can't seal Lydia inside an Oblivion gate, something that I had a fair bit of fun with doing to the Adoring Fan, as it seems others have, according to the Elder Scrolls wiki:
"You can get rid of him permanently by going into an Oblivion Gate, telling him to stay put while inside the gate, and closing the gate.")
That having been said, I find follower AI in general to be stupid to the point of driving me mad. I've lost count of the times they run in front of me swinging my sword or throwing a fireball (running in front of my fireball in particular usually means they die instantly). They trigger traps that I deftly had avoided; one time Lydia set off a swinging spike wall trap that I HAD AVOIDED COMPLETELY BUT FUCKING KILLED ME WHEN SHE STOOD ON THE GODDAMN TRIGGER. Sworn to protect me?! HAH! Protect me from yourself, you blundering reprobate!
When they're not sniffing glue before combat, they can do some real damage, especially as it seems they regenerate health a lot faster than I do.
Nowadays I park my follower outside the dungeon, returning to them periodically only to offload loot onto them for them to haul on the way back to town. Though, i'm often tempted to bring them into combat simply because the enemy AI sometimes focuses entirely on them until they fall to a knee, giving me much-needed breathing room in hectic fights.
All the current mods have been hackneyed together without official modding tools. It's pretty impressive, really.
Years of experience, starting with Morrowind, i'm assuming. A deep familiarity with .esps and their general structure is probably what allowed them to get a working tool together that works so surprisingly well.
