I just wish they could use a traditional map. I mean, the one now is neat and all, but clunky.
http://www.thenexusforums.com/index.php?/topic/510412-real-1st-person-view-wip/ I approve of this.
If ever there was a reason for me to get this game on PC, this is it. I love true first-person and head-bobbing effects, even if they do give me slight motion sickness. I hope the problems with this are fixed. I'd imagine this'd be a sort of essential mod.
I now know what it feels like to kill a dragon with a giant and a mammoth. Freakin amazing.
I now know what it feels like to kill a dragon with a giant and a mammoth. Freakin amazing.
Half of my dragon kills have had the help of Giants and Mammoths.
I finally got my 360 Skyrim to work, I kept freezing in some tower/dungeon when climbing a certain flight of stairs. Turns out, the save was corrupt somehow, so I deleted and reinstalled it to hard drive, and then loaded a save before I went in the tower. Works like a charm, now. OH HOW I MISSED YOU SKYRIM!
I don't care if they set the DLC in any province, but It would be fucking brilliant if they remade a portion of the Imperial City in the new engine and redesigned it. It could be like a small quest where you get knocked out/get sent to kill someone/etc. Or even better, you have to defend against another Thalmor attack.
Half of my dragon kills have had the help of Giants and Mammoths.
I was rescued by a giant and a mammoth from a dragon once, after killing the dragon I killed the giant and the mammoth and took their shit.
uh uhhhhhh uhhhhhhh ...WET? [editline]4th January 2012[/editline] it's console exclusive though so that doesn't count
I'm pretty sure that he meant bethesda game studio related game.
I'm already hyped for potential DLC and I've barely scratched the surface of Skyrim :V
I've played 230 hours of Skyrim and I haven't finished the main quest. [editline]3rd January 2012[/editline] My finals suffered.
What the fuck. 3 of my dragon priest masks and my nightingale hood disappeared when I did the Thalmor quest (the one where you infiltrate their party). After I "got my gear back" I noticed I was missing my shit.
Delphine just robbed your stuff.
Delphine's a cunt who thinks she can do whatever she wants cause she's a Blade.
Delphine's a cunt who thinks she can do whatever she wants cause she's a Blade.
I second this.

And on the topic of Delphine, am I the only one who didn't realize she was the "assistant" to the Whiterun mage when you bring him the dragonstone from Bleak Falls Barrow?
I've played 230 hours of Skyrim and I haven't finished the main quest. [editline]3rd January 2012[/editline] My finals suffered.
I think I almost failed Calc last semester because of Skyrim. And then as soon as I return to classes next week, I bet the CK's going to be there waiting for me. WAITING.
So my loading screen and main menu items are red. Is this a known bug with a known fix?
The Alik'r hood, Hammerfell garb, and scimitar look freaking awesome. It makes me want the next elder scrolls game to take place in Hammerfell. The Arabian style would look so cool.
Hammerfell and High Rock were technically already done. Though fingers crossed hoping we get a High Rock exp/dlc where you fight the Thalmor out of the province

I thought they said Elswyr was uninhabitable or otherwise useless with no materials and little of interest. Also, Black Marsh is habitable by humans, but not in the humid summers. That should settle that dispute. I still think the next game needs to be somewhere new. If we keep making TES games set in the mainland of Tamriel, we will run out of space rather quickly. I haven't played (edit) SKYRIM (dammit) since late November / Early December... I think on the 1.1 patch. I booted it up, updated (and defragged the cache and stuff), and now the game is all stuttery. Any ideas? I tried the 4GB Large Address patch and the 'performance overlay' + the script extender, but they didn't seem to do much of anything at all.
i predict that in the next full TES game, we are introduced a magical gunpowder as a main quest plot. imagine being a mage a wielding an ancient gunpowder pistol in your other hand, slow reload, loud noise, lots of smoke, high damage, extremely expensive and ammo is extremely hard to make. heck i can imagine lines of wood elfs and jannissary looking red guards going against eachother in a musket fight. gunpowder is the next logical step IMO
i predict that in the next full TES game, we are introduced a magical gunpowder as a main quest plot
And multiplayer! (I foresee rainbows in my future).

That fixed most of my issues.
