Allright so I'm having trouble coming up with decent starter perks for my 1H perk tree redesign. I need a starter skill for blades, waraxes, maces, unarmed, and duel weild (which is how I'm organizing the perk tree).

Anyone got any ideas? Keep in mind these are starter perks - aka no great abilities or shit that makes you deal a lot of extra damage or anything along those lines. For example, my starter perk for greatswords was to increase your stamina regen by 20% with a greatsword equipped.

Suddenly I want to make a character only using a woodcutter axe as a weapon and wearing topless fur armor.

I've tried finishing off a lightning mage with a pickaxe and a woodcutter's axe with my caster class (because they were the only weapons I had in my inventory)

One thing that doesn't make sense to me is why there are no armored mage robes. I mean, no one in the entirety of skyrim had the bright idea to strap some armor plates onto their robes? It could be balanced pretty easily, just have it be somewhat weaker than the standard versions of the armor (it could be iron plated, steel, daedric etc.) and the robes could still have better benefits, but at least a mage wouldn't get his/her ass kicked by all the retards running up and hitting them with swords.
