SkyUI.
Damn ninjas. - I guess I could add a link:
Anyone know what the respawn times are for areas?
Depends on the cell type. Its like 15-30 days. Get wars in skyrim, it has a plugin called Bloodcoins that modifies the timers to like 1 week, 2 days, or 2 hours.

Oh ore, thats 30 days and I don't think there is a mod that changes that yet. You could get the mod that makes you mine x2 or x3 times more ore.
I have no idea what it's called on the nexus but I still have the zip in my trashbin

Just drop it in data, no esp
I'll just leave this here:

this is kinda to be expected of a game from 2002, but it's a shame that the ai is pretty much the same in skyrim
I'd like to see a mod where you start off after the dragon born has already defeated Alduin and you're just some average schmo. Just remove the main quest and modify any quests that reference the main quest. Have an alternate start like that one Oblivion mod.

Example for using a Batch File to create an alternative start
With the above method you can actually create an alternative start to the game. In addition to a batch file, you also need to edit the Skyrim.ini file, which can be found in your C:\Users\YOUR_USER_NAME\Documents\My Games\Skyrim folder.
Open your Skyrim.ini file and add the line SStartingCell=WhiteRiverWatch01 under the [General] tab.
Create an empty .txt-file in your Skyrim folder (where the TESV.exe is located) and name it bandit (not bandit.txt).
Paste the code sniplet below the numbered list into the new file.
Start a new game and you will not see the intro but stand within the White River Watch cave.
Open the console and type bat bandit.
Create your character.
Code to copy into the bandit file:
player.removeallitems
;Leather Armor, Bracers and Boots
player.additem 3619e 1
player.equipitem 3619e
player.additem 13921 1
player.equipitem 13921
player.additem 13920 1
player.equipitem 13920
;Steel Sword and Shield
player.additem 13989 1
player.equipitem 13989
player.additem 13955 1
player.equipitem 13955
;Hunting Bow and Iron Arrows
player.additem 13985 1
player.additem 1397D 25
;Gold and Lockpicks
player.additem f 100
player.additem a 15
;Bandit Ally Faction
player.addtofaction e0cd9 0
;Create Character
showracemenu
Using this method you can visit Helgen before it is destroyed and you can also do the side missions, but without further editing the main quest will not start (see the Quest Stages section of Unbound to find out how to start the main quest anyway).
Directly from the UESP CONSOLE WIKI
Whoa thanks I'll definitely use that for my next character.
If you still want the bandits to attack you:
you remove the:
player.addtofaction e0cd9 0
from the .ini file, or if you want them to be ally at first but later on you change your mind, type in the console:
player.addtofaction e0cd9 -1
Yesterday I helped a few bandits take down a random dragon. Soon as it was dead, the bandits turned and attacked me. That's pretty strange. Wouldn't they think "Wow, this guy helped us kill a dragon, let's not push our luck for now shall we lads?"
Also, one thing that Fable got right was that wearing different armour changed peoples' opinions of you, so walking around clad as an assassin would make people nervous, but when I walk into a village dressed in full daedric armour no one bats an eyelash.

Just some immersion killing things
Selling ore to the mine owners is actually quite profitable; they give you their base value in gold, which no trader will do unless you get a very high speech level or dozens of price increase enchantments. Got 2700 for clearing Kolskeggr mine of gold ore.
Apparently someone decided Karliah was too cool to be a regular elf.

I don't remember seeing anything like that in Zelda. Except maybe Agatha the Crazy Bug Lady...

I remember that part, I think I decapitated his brother. Felt a little sad afterwards so I placed his head next to J'darr's.
Who needs bows

When I read that, and went back to check if that was actually J'darr, and it was, I felt terrible.
You can rest now, J'darr.

What the hell, when I got there his brother was already dead in a bloody mess. It looked as though J'darr killed him in his madness.

One of the brothers was already dead, but when I got there, the survivor stopped talking to his recently departed and attacked me.

Ah, yeah. Sorry, I misunderstood. :v:
I think my bro may have failed at installing too many mods.
After leaving helgen caves with Ralof outside waiting were two dremora and a giant.
works with items too only you must end it in 4.
ex
help nightingale 4
It'll sometimes have other shit like quest stages n shit but all the items are bundled together
I used 0 and it still showed me item codes.
Is there any cave, bandit hideout, or ruin that I can clear out and claim as my home? Or will things always respawn? Is there any cool places that don't have a respawn because they are quest related or something?

wizard robes, long hair and beard, master of restoration magic

How will you defeat enemies? With a ward and a sword?

A nice looking cave is Eldergleam Sanctuary but I'm not sure if you can clear it out (there's no enemies but rather 2 Temple of Mara followers) but I'm certain the chests reset and I don't know if the people inside will take your shit.

Wait for the CK and make a weapon called "The Fists of Holy Righteousness" which basically are glowing fists. maybe use the glow effect from the Dawnbreaker :v:
