You can go first person when you're riding a horse in Oblivion, Skyrim took it a step further!

Battlemages are tedious to play as in Skyrim. But in Morrowind, it was my favorite class. You were basically a walking tank, specialized in long range and close range combat.

In oblivion, you press R and it switches from third person to first. Oblivion was released 5 years before skyrim.

Ok guys, I am getting some really weird skyrim problems after fixing my fucked up game after I was messing around with the cfg and I fucked it up.
I get this weird bug where the skyrim logo model on the menu screen is a pinkish color, and same with the model on the screen when loading the game. Every time I try to load a save the game instantly crashes while loading. So I decided to remove my save games and keep them in a backup folder, I still get the weird pink models but I can actually start a new game just fine. And nothing is pink in-game.
I have already reinstalled and verified game cache and everything, still confused on what to do, is there anyway to keep my saved game and not get the pink models in the menu and loading screen?

I had this exact problem. Unfortunately, the only real fix is to delete the game and reinstall. Deleting the local content of the game, though, only effects the steamapps folder, so your save games (which are in /My Documents/My Games/Skyrim) will be safe. [i]However[/i], your save games are also corrupt and you're not going to be able to load them. If you don't delete them they'll just gather dust.
I had the same issues and that's what ended up fixing them.
My game won't display any recent savegames, and I'm only in the 200s. I can load the very last saved game with the continue button even if it isn't displayed in the list, and I can quicksave. What do? I tried deleting old saves but that doesn't help.

I never mentioned that you can go first person in Skyrim wild riding a horse - a game that was released 5 years after Oblivion.

Actually just solved it by uninstalling all of my mods, now hopefully my saves before i fucked the game up aren't corrupted.

It's like the dragons know when I'm really deep into RPing and actively seek me out and follow me, and then when I actually want to get a dragon soul they either never spawn or even worse never land.

like when you go to that dungeon to find the piece of wuuthrad for the companions and you have to fight like 40 fucking scourge draugrs and a few deathlords before the exit opens, I have no choice but to cheat
