Someone needs to take this: And turn it into this: Or mudcrabs...it'd be more fitting now that I think about it.
Have you guys seen this? http://www.skyrimnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=5253 -pics-
I'm currently using it with a few things I edited. It looks really nice in-game.
has anyone ever actually seen 2 dragons going at it before? or is the loading screen message just a lie

No sleep for me tonight.
has anyone ever actually seen 2 dragons going at it before? or is the loading screen message just a lie
Yeah, although when they see you they'll usually team up on you and get their souls eaten. It seems to only be happening between a frost dragon and a fire dragon for me, even long after they stop appearing. Not sure if that's on purpose.
Skyrim has one of the most fucked up difficulty curves of any game I've ever played. One moment your fighting bandits that can die by being coughed on, the next minute you're going through what you just described.
your strength is determined by the adjective in front of your name
Oh wow, I feel like this is what I used to dream Elder Scrolls could look like.
I'm currently using it with a few things I edited. It looks really nice in-game.
do you mind sharing? I'm not getting the desired effects :(
Yadda's config or this? http://www.skyrimnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=5253#content
I hate when people make a very specific change and just call it "better" or "realistic"
I nearly shit my pants when I tried to sleep in the game. The first time I tried to sleep I had just [sp]completed the mission where you kill Grelod the Kind. Suddenly, I'm fucking abducted in my sleep and taken to a back-ass shack somewhere in the hillbilly lands, or the swamps near Morthal for you normal people. Astrid freaked me the fuck out. I spent 15 minutes trying to decide who to kill and I finally made my choice. I killed Astrid. I was level fucking 11 at the time. I used all of my healthpotions, but it was worth it. Later on, a Legionare commander gave me the task to destroy the Dark Brotherhood. I went to their sanctuary, turned into a werewolf, and ate them all. Best crowning moment of awesomness in Skyrim.[/sp] Also, one thing I wanted to mention is the "civil war" in Skyrim is pretty shit. Like the majority of the other sidequests, it's just a bunch of repetitive "kill teh bad guyz" quests and really doesn't have thought or strategy. I would've loved to see massive battles and sieges ala Whiterun, Whindhelm, or even like the Mount & Blade games. Big sprawling battles. It's just because it's too much for the engine to handle. Bethesda just put far too much time in making the game look purdy and making combat feel "better". They sacrificed interesting plots and characters for better mechanics, and I thought they were so close to finding a balance too. :(
Yadda's config or this? http://www.skyrimnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=5253#content
I tested both out and Yaddas' has much more appealing visuals. The Confident one has too much contrast and just looks worse overall.

Just got the [sp]Wabbajack. Sheogorath continues to be the best character.[/sp]
I'm feeling artistic. yay
Bitch I took on a dragon alone at level 7.
I took my first one-on-one fight with a dragon at level 5. I am not fucking kidding.
Does it matter what level you fought a dragon at? It scales them to your level.
Does it matter what level you fought a dragon at? It scales them to your level.
It takes 30 minutes to take one down with just Flames and Healing. So yeah, you get at least small bragging rights.
Does it matter what level you fought a dragon at? It scales them to your level.
Yeah but technically you shouldn't have ebony weapons at level 5.
you just screwed yourself out of the best questline in the game
I killed Astrid as well but then people were saying the Dark Brotherhood questline is one of the more interesting ones so I loaded a save and did as she said. Now [sp]I have to kill Vittoria Vici at her wedding and I doooooooooooooon't wanna do that cause it's such a bad thing to do and they look so happy and yea. But it seems like their wedding goes on for like an entire month cause I entered and left and a month later I came back and they're all still going 'wooo yea'[/sp]

I came back a few days later and everybody was still in the courtyard, at 3 in the morning, fighting with that argonian that Astrid sends along with you to hold your hand. I haven't pursued the DB any further so as far as I know they're still there.[/sp]
Acceleration Layer or Skyboost?
Skyboost gives slightly more FPS for me.
I'll throw some more pictures documenting my adventures up later, but I think the Thieves' Guild is the most fun I've had in Skyrim. Sneaking past everything is a harrowing adventure, and even though my Sneak is up past 90, it's still a challenge to get past that one enemy that's looking just the wrong way. And then running away and hiding right nearby and waiting for them to lose sight of you. I've started playing without the stealth indicator to make it even more difficult, and even more fun. One thing that's annoying, though, is enemies that seem to have magical, instant-detection vision. They can see you at least twenty feet away, detect you (and start combat/searching) if they catch even the slightest glimpse of you, and get all their buddies trying to find you. Whereas their buddies have a sight range of "to the end of their nose", only detect you if you sit in their vision for a good second or so, go into combat only after another second or so, and only alert their buddies if you can't take them out quickly.
Is there a guide up anywhere on how to get sexy screenshots without HUD and all that? Sorry if it's like the thousandth time it's been asked.
I thought that after finishing the main quest I would be considered as a hero and be thanked by everybody. Nope, it's like nothing happened. It totally breaks the immersion IMO.
