Am I correct in thinking that the CK isn't out for another week or two? I've not quite been keeping up with the Blog at all. (Beth Blog)
For anyone concerned in leveling Smithing early, and hasn't known these yet:
Download Third Era Weapons Mod
Chop woods
Make Wood BattleStaff
(Max Smithing after a few hundreds of Battlestaffs)
Or
Get a bow
Go hunting
Get hides
Leather Bracers
(Max after a quite long time, but also improve Sneak, Archery)
Or
Iron Daggers

If you're going to do it like that you may aswell just open console and do "player.setav smithing 100"
When the CK comes out, is it possible for me to move furniture around my house? I never messed around with it :v:

Alright. Thanks for the info
Now, has anyone seen this movie:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Posterofcenturion.jpg
The soldiers' armors look like Imperial and Blades.
And the Pict's clothes look like Forsworn.
Also, in the movie, there's a moment when the soldiers are be chased by the Pict, one guy got shot in the knee.
Fuck this movie and its Skyrim preferences
I got excited when watching it.
And you can actually improve your weapons even further by
player.setav smithing/ enchanting/ alchemy "go beyond 100"
try 10000 :v:
I've been playing Skyrim (duh) and Oblivion a lot recently, and I gotta say they are like totally different games.
I certainly enjoyed Oblivion's 'guild' quests more than the ones in Skyrim.

Is there another way to level up smithing that isn't smith a lot of stuff? Because making some stuff seems to be the only way of doing it, beyond getting the overpriced training.

There's only a couple scattered across an entire country.

God damn that video killed me so hard.

Oh yes, i remember the thieves guild...
Oblivion: Overhear that beggars are the eyes and ears of the Gray Fox, seek out a beggar, get them to trust you, go find the theives guild recruiter, compete in a competition, and finally join. You then need to make enough money for the guild to move up.
Skyrim: Walk in to riften, "Hello lad can you help me with something", join. Then you can get to the top by doing nothing for the guild.
Was bored, decided to edit one of my skyrim screenshots.

Yeah, i assumed they would be able to know you as one of their own, but i guess i was wrong.
When the creation kit comes out, the thing I want the most is more realistic armors, I think the only decent looking armors are fur and iron, I would love to see something like what the competitors wear in the movie 'A Knights Tale'.
Also my computer is pretty much fucked, could play skyrim since launch with the best config out, and on ultra, now all of a sudden, I can only play on low, fps isn't the problem, it just freezes my computer.
[sp]they are feral werewolves.[/sp]
Thought they could smell the blood of their own kin, got kind of sad when I couldn't do the [sp]"free the werewolves and let them fight for you to get out"[/sp] cause.
That would've been kind of epic just see this swarm of [sp]werewolves[/sp] attacking the [sp] skinner dude[/sp]

This armor seems very counterproductive
I don't see why you need to mod this kind of stuff in the game. It already has like two or so sets of fairly skimpy armor. (one variant of fur, and the forsworn armor)
[editline]8th January 2012[/editline]
And that stuff looks better than this armor anyway.
hnngh cant wait for creation kit

-snip-
Guys I accidently deleted my old settings to change contrast and shit, anyone knows which one it was? It was the one that could be toggled by pause button

I definitley agree with that.
How did you join up with the dark brotherhood in Oblivion? I remember after going through the first gate that one guardsman ran infront of my arrow, then i went to sleep in the chapel to wake up with that creepy guy talking to me, he left after giving me a knife and telling me to go kill someone or something. When he walked off i noticed martin just sitting there next to my bed. he looked pretty chill.

Murder an NPC and the next time you're sleeping you'll be greeted by someone from the Dark Brotherhood.
Use the console to give yourself the spell.
Okay, I tried that, and it worked... but only temporarily. It gave me a head, but once I boot the game, the head is missing again. Also, even after becoming a werewolf (which grants me a head), I can't use certain headgear - or my head will simply disappear again. Also some of the headgear that don't hide my head only remove the hair of the character, as if it couldn't get weirder. Anyone got other other suggestions? As I've already mentioned, sexchange and racemenu will not fix the issue either.
You just have to commit a murder. Then you get that message about forces unseen observing you.
He's not asking for the technicalities of it, he's asking to share your story of how it happened to you.
