I recall during the attack on Kvatch a few guards got hit by my spells, right before you finish the quest by charging in with all the soldiers to kill generic boss daedra I decided to go to sleep.

The Assassin woke me up and spoke about bullshit about the DB, but I totally lost immersion when he ranted on about being so secret and had to contact me in private despite 12 guards in the background all close by with horrors spewing from oblivion gates, I told him I would accept the quest and as He did he casted that camo spell to easily run out the area only for that Daedra boss to run up to me, swung his axe and killed the Assassin :v:

You know what disappointed me the most in skyrim?

No flaming arrow or frost arrow particle effects.

When the CK comes out this must be modded in.

Seems like nearly everyone you free from captivity tries to kill you. I once freed a naked bandit marauder and he tells me he'll take everything I have, yeah the guy wearing ebony mail and wielding a legendary blade of woe and dragonbane is going to give you all his stuff.

Yeah, all the AI seems to do is either wander around, go through their idle animations or blindly attack things until they've hit low health, I would've liked to have seen most things shitting themselves and running when dragons or something show up.

Enemies are way to confident. I can't tell you how many times I've one shotted bandits before they can even finish their "Never should've come here"

They act stupidly with regard to sneaking too, if you kill their buddy they go back to sitting at a table or whatever after a minute, I would've loved to see them check the guy's body, call to others or take up more advantageous positions and be more alert, even if they think you've probably left.

Funny how in that one trailer everyone runs from the dragon and in the game everyone picks up an iron dagger or tries to kill it with their fists.

why does it make you laugh?

devs (albeit not really bethesda) have to take in a lot of considerations about how hardware is going to handle the tech they develop, so they tend to stay towards the lower end of the spectrum. modders on the other hand, develop completely optional addons and make them available for those who know their computers can handle them.

What about the modders that put in fixes that should've been there in the first place, like the 4GB patch, and things like the TESVAL, etc.

he was talking about visual enhancements not performance

and that's why I put (albeit not really bethesda) there, they're not the best with QA

Skyboost gives a larger FPS boost than TESVAL without affecting graphical quality.

i'd be more happy knowing that they have made a very good looking game, not saying that skyrim isn't good looking it's just mods that make the game better like [URL="http://static.skyrimnexus.com/downloads/images/3721-3-1323946414.jpg"]this[/URL] as an example texture mod, thats not the only low res texture in game, i've seen it on armour and weapons to dragons and horses all the textures apart from faces are low resolution and this is a game coming outta 2011 im sure it won't hurt to bump them up a little.

Guess you didn't even listen to the video. He said it looks exactly the same but you get a higher FPS than if you were using TESVAL.

Makes a big ass difference for me since I get around 17 FPS with TESVAL in Whiterun and around 22 FPS with Skyboost, which is a pretty damn big percentage bost.
