About that one dog in Falkreath (anyone who encountered him know what I'm talking about), his voice sounds a lot like Clarence, one of Penumbra: Black Plague's characters. On your toolbar, click the volume control icon and then click the speaker (or mic, I think) in the panel. It should show the "Speaker Properties" menu, click on the "Advance" tab and set the Default Format to "16-bit, 44100 Hz (CD Quality)." Theoretically it should fix the problem but if not, I got no clue for any other way to fix it.

Holy fuck vampires are annoying to fight when you aren't a werewolf. It's almost like every time you encounter a vampire occupied dungeon, you contract Sanguinare Vampiris.

Anyway, I was just recently attacked by a Dark Brotherhood assassin. I have no idea who would actually want to murder me, and it left me wondering about a few things: What if I decide to join the Dark Brotherhood? Will they just act like they never tried to kill me and everything will continue as normal? And the note said, if I remember correctly, that failure was not an option. So, does this mean they're going to keep sending assassins to kill me, like in Morrowind? Because that is fucking annoying.

Is Voice of the Emperor good for fucking anything anymore? It seems like everyone's disposition of you is set in stone in Skyrim whereas in Oblivion and especially Morrowind I could solve TONS of quests just by using that on people to tell me what I want. Argonian's water breathing also seems useless now.

Unlike in the previous two games I can use Voice of the Emperor on any person who won't tell me something (has a persuade or intimidate speech option) and it doesn't do anything. Also you can't piss anyone off to an obvious point like in Oblivion which was fun. The only thing that happens now is they might say, "It's a fine day with you around". They might as well not have had it at all if that's as good as it gets. In the previous games you could actually USE that disposition for other speech or quest options or whatever but it doesn't alter the game in any way now.
