Skyboost?
Skyboost?
yep thanks hun
I got the mission to go to the [sp]Blades temple[/sp] for the first time.
Leave the inn after talking to [sp]Delphine[/Sp], there's a dragon.
Fast travel to a slightly closer location, there's a dragon.
Travel slightly west from there, there's a dragon.
Keep going west and run into [sp]a Dragon Burial site where Alduin swoops in and revives a dragon[/sp]. Needless to say, there was a dragon.
One blood dragon, one frost dragon, and 2 named dragons when I'm just trying to get to the damn temple :v Christs sake.
*Thanks Chickens*
Hunting for dragons: no dragons ever under any circumstances
Want to do a quest/get immersed in Skyrim roleplaying: dragons everywhere
started playing through again, this time using skyui and uncapped mod (skill levels max at 300 rather than 100, meaning you can feasibly max out all perks with enough grinding)
does anyone have any recommendations when it comes to destruction rebalancing mods? i know there's one mod that adds damage boosts to some destruction perks which seems like it'd help; i'm basically using fire magic + one-handed and my fire damage seems woefully inadequate.

Spam firebolt with dual-cast + impact and avoid getting hit under all circumstances. Also try to avoid hitting someone like Sven in the back, it usually one-shots him.
Was looking for my Skyrim CD for about half an hour and I was panicking because I thought I accidently lent it to a friend.
Turns out it was in my sister's gaming room. I asked if she played it and she said "Yes". I asked her if she liked it and she said "Yes, it's just like a better version of Fallout, but with swords and shit"
+10 respect for my sister
yep thanks hun
Wish I answered first so that I were your hun :(
I benchmarked SkyBoost and the Acceleration Layer and both seemed to improve my fps at the same scale, so I guess that as far as this stuff goes, my computer is at it's maximum while playing skyrim now. It helped out tons in cities like Markarth though.

the CD is useless because it forces you to use steam, that post doesn't even make sense.

Might have been a console version?

it's the thought that counts hun

Would have been better off losing it and buying a PC version then. No real loss.
am i the only one that cant bare going to the dark brotherhood sanctuary [sp]the dawnstar one[/sp] after the guild questlines are over? it just seems so depressing what with [sp]all of the interesting DB characters gone[/sp]

It is depressing. I want the ability to clean out the old one, as well as get the good ol' Brothergood back together.
Minus that backstabbing bitch, of course.

Could I get a link for the uncapped mod? I can't seem to find it.
So I'm having a strange glitch that is basically preventing me from playing Skyrim on Steam.
I'll launch the game, but the window that has the launching thing on it disappears and reappears several times before just failing to launch the game.
Anyone know any fixes? I've already verified local files.

At least that's doable. During the same quest I fast-traveled to Rorikstead and starting heading west only to run into a Blood Dragon, Elder Dragon, and assloads of Forsworn. The Blood Dragon went down easy enough but the Elder Dragon could nearly instakill me since I was level 17. I reloaded an earlier save and the SAME DAMN THING happened again. I finally just ignored it and sprinted past the dragon and forsworn and ran into Karthspire to hide.
Draugrs.
Are they hard? No
Are they everywhere? YES

Except deathlords. Have you ever fought more than 1 deathlord at the same time? I have, one fus ro dah'd me into the ceiling and while I was trying to get back up the other one just pummeled me.

I did that once. They still died in 2 hits to my ebony waraxe.

Depends on your difficulty.

Sneak.
Know all their spots from the infinite amount of Nordic ruins you've traversed.
Know how to tell a draugr from a corpse.
Aim.
Fire.
I tried playing Daggerfall today and I wish I had a chart handy of Skyrim's controls so I could make them not a handcramping nightmare

De-equip weapon immediately afterward to avoid disarm shout.

Everything is a PITA on Master difficulty.

"I was in a house and there was all this stuff, and it kept saying 'take it, steal it, steal it.' Am I supposed to be stealing things?"
I want to play this but i end up making new characters and trying out different skills since on characters that i've gotten far in i have 10 tons of fucking quests to do which is quite off putting.
I wonder if I could tweak the dragons to my liking when the CK comes out.
What I'd do is down the damage of dragons' attacks except for a few attacks such as the breaths, I'd make them much more aggressive, aka less flying around fire/ice breathing at nothing and more breathing shit in your face and going on the ground to attack you often.
I would also buff the shit out of their health, what I want with dragons is basically a long and epic fight where you actually fight for a long time and more face to face with with dragons without them hitting you for 100% of your health on the first breath/attack.
maayyybe decrease the spawn rate too :v:
And I can 100% guarantee you'll hate those changes after you encounter your 25th dragon after an hour of exploring.
Yeah, I'd obviously decrease the spawn rate by a lot.
