Haha am I a bad person for thinking this looks alright?
[editline]14th January 2012[/editline]
Also, is there any way to get rid of the weird thing with ENB where everything feels so damn white like you're looking at skyrim through a piece of not-so-transparent glass?

Looks alright to me.

There are so few games with full body awareness.
You can't say the whole game is fucking ruined just because it doesn't have it.
Haven't really played this yet, so wondering of what all the rave of this is about. So, what is so good about this? It seems quite a bit similar to Oblivion without a lot of innovation - mostly a refined version of Oblivion. Not that it's bad - it looks like a good game - but it doesn't look like anything special to me either.
So do corpses decompose or what? I've had a slowly growing pile of wolf carcasses on the route from Riverwood to Whiterun.

They'll disappear if you don't visit that route in a while.
Like a week or so.

Much more fun than Oblivion imo.
Ridin' ma horse from Whiterun to Dawnstar, spot a Frightened Woman, decide to listen 'er out, she says that there are some bandits nearby and I point her to the nearest city (Whiterun but she runs to Dawnstar god knows why), decided that, since I'm evil, I won't let her live, chase her down, Iiz Slen her and three wolves that attack her, go for the killOHGODAGIANTRUNRUNRUN game crashes.

Shut the fuck up Amren. Every damn time I walk past you, you say that. :suicide:
But Amren is so kind. He always greets the player.

Doesn't really bother me that much though!
There needs to be a mod that makes the cool execution all the time when doing a kill while sneaking undetected
I would like to share a story. I just saw my first Dwemer Centurion....
So I was exploring this cool Falmer cave, plundering and looting, I soon came upon an entrance to a Dwemer ruin. I go inside and its all foggy so I can hardly see anything. But I do see a Falmer sitting in front of his tent. So I pop an arrow at him and killed him pretty quickly. I proceeded to mock and dance around his dead corpse because I kicked his little ass! But of course, my celebrations would be short lived. Out of nowhere this giant Dwemer centurion appears out of the fog. My first reaction was like "WHAT THE FUCK IS THAT?" and of course packmule Lydia decided it would be a good idea to confront the thing head on. She goes down and the centurion turns his attention to me. As the little bastard I am, I circle strafe the thing whacking it with my scimitar. I also use the fire breath shout on it. Just like in my previous story, I was screaming my head off because I came so close to dying many times. Finally I put the robot down and all was well. All in all I was quite surprised by the size of the centurion.

There is a console command for it, I can't remember it off the top of my head though

Better than "Have you been to the cloud district? ..."

It always plays for me, maybe you don't have a high enough sneak attack multiplier?
Just ignore that gay greek whatever the fuck his name is, he does nothing but attempts to troll.

I'm pretty sure it was just a sarcastic joke.
can someone link me to that full body awareness mod somebody made?
I'm pretty sure it was just a sarcastic joke.
If it's a joke, he's the most oblivious person in the world.

He must be from Oblivion.
I know that joke was awful.

All my hits are 30x and I only get it every 10 or so kills :(
i never played an elder scrolls game before, but i'm extremely dissapointed with the artstyle of late game weapons and armor
instead of practical, its either bright blue glass armor, or dark and edgy 12 year old ebony and daedric armor, etc.. Also the warhammers and greataxes look extremely strange. The only armor i actually think looks neat and interesting is whiterun/other hold's guard armor, fine clothes, and maybe that general tulius armor. I hate to nitpick but it all looks retarded to me. Like imperial officer armor for example, the red with metal looks really nice and its all roman and shit, but the texture of the metal for the helmet, bracers, etc. looks like chalky aluminum foil or something.
all this weird ass armor reminds me of those pictures of early armor compared to late game armor on the diablo 3 panels where it looks like you end up as a living breathing crystal chandelier by the end.

games need more, practical looking, but still neat looking armor imo

Glass Armor/Weapons have always been bright green/blue.
I don't see why you're nitpicking on the armor of the game when it's been like that since the first Elder Scrolls games. It's not meant to be realistic or practical so stop treating it as such.

I agree with his opinion that all the armors that aren't bright blue and green glass and overly evil-looking daedric armor suck ass at higher levels. I like the way Iron swords look, but I can't put them to good use because it'll take 15 more hits than a daedric weapon to deal even half the damage.
words
The only armor that's non-practical and spiky like that is the Daedric armor. And considering that the Daedric princes are basically the equivalent of demons, I'd say it's completely fitting (and intimidating).
[t]http://images.wikia.com/elderscrolls/images/2/26/Daedric_Armor_%28Skyrim%29.jpg[/t]
I don't really know what you're complaining about with the glass armor. The colors are toned-down, the design is practical and, in fact, the armor is mostly not glass.
[t]http://images.wikia.com/elderscrolls/images/7/7e/180px-Glassarmor.jpg[/t]
And besides the shoulder pads, the ebony armor is hardly even spiky. It just looks like especially ornate medieval armor.

[editline]1[/editline]
At least be glad the women wear armor unlike in most other RPGs.
[editline]2[/editline]
I don't disagree with you about the more practical armor, though. It would be cool if there were some stronger practical-looking armor or metallic weapons, perhaps high-level armor from the higher-ups in the Imperial Legion.

TES armor doesn't really look like that, at all.

You're overlooking Iron, Fur, Hide, Steel, Orcish, Scaled, Wolf and Steel Plate - they all look pretty rugged and realistic.
