I have a problem here, I've installed 2 mods with the nexus mod manager, but they haven't changed the game at all. It was TESV and the banned lightning overhaul. It says both mods have been installed and I've checked its the proper directory for skyrim
Anyone else find playing mage only difficult as fuck?
Only recently started playing Skyrim and I'm wondering if anybody knows of any decent FPS increase mods?

It's not gonna be hugely noticeable unless you were previously getting like 15FPS outdoors. Lighting overhauls are subtle but once you notice it's impossible to go back to vanilla.

Magic should of been more of an epic thing to use, where beams of endless fire should of been something you had at level 15-20, not the first trick you learn. I would absolutely love a mod that gives you starting professions/people to choose from, like a mage/wizard, a warrior and a lowly worker. A Warrior would have no knowledge of magic, a Mage would know a few spells and a Wizard would start with a few unique spells, a staff and some robes. Also, does anyone else think a mod where you can have other characters you've played as companions would be a good idea? I would really like to see my Nord Rogue go fucking shit up with my Khajiit at his back.
What is the best graphics mod for skyrim? I find the vanilla graphics pretty bland, but when I used mods such as yaddas config, or that total realism one, it causes constant crashes.
R4 of Skyboost gets me from 14 FPS in Whiterun to 20. Fucking great.
Obvious tip: Before using console, make seperate saves. That way you can choose to continue game legitly or screw around with the console.
