Created a boxer and have been playing for a short while. Level 21 or so and I've gotten my pickpocket to 100 and I've been increasing my speech by speaking to some guy then pickpocketing the gold back... easy levels, but I feel as though I've cheated. :(
rather gritty and greyscaled than overbright and blurred textures everywhere.
I prefer being able to see my character and what is 1 meter in front of me. Approximately how long would it take for the Skyrim equivalent of FCOM to appear? I asked this in the begging of the thread, but I don't think I got an answer
Approximately how long would it take for the Skyrim equivalent of FCOM to appear? I asked this in the begging of the thread, but I don't think I got an answer
After many months after Creation Kit is released?
As quickly and randomly as my interest in playing Oblivion again started, it has disappeared. I cannot be fucking arsed installing all these mods that make it interesting to play (by fixing the fucked stats system, the various bugs, rather crap combat and such) Same deal with FO3. That, and i've played that game through 100%, nothing in it anymore holds interest :/ [editline]15th January 2012[/editline] I'll just have to get Skyrim for PC and hope I can run it on at least all low. Can't play it on 360 all the time as the TV in this house is a heavily contested item, being as it is a rather large, decent flatscreen.
Am I wrong or are torches in this game totally useless? You can see perfectly fine even it the darkest cave.... Is there a mod that makes caves and the night darker?
"R3VOLUTION ENB V-10" AHahahha. What a fucking joke of a preset. And look at the comments, they're praising it and saying it should be part of the top 25 mods and everything. Fucking hell.
Am I wrong or are torches in this game totally useless? You can see perfectly fine even it the darkest cave.... Is there a mod that makes caves and the night darker?
I have the exact opposite problem on the console version, can't see shit in any area not lit up well. Probably is a mod somewhere, usually the first kind to be made for recent Bethesda games (except for nude mods, of course). Have a look on Skyrimnexus or such.

I use that alongside the realistic lighting mod and it works wonders, so long as you have torches and/or candlelight. Speaking of which, Banned, I installed your config just in time for [sp]the battle of Whiterun. I fought it at night and it looked absolutely amazing.[/sp] That's going right up there with my favorite video game memories.
Most of the "Highly Praised" ENB configs look like shit. Yadda's is one of them.
Yadda is one of the better ones though. Just found this tough: http://www.skyrimnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=6279 Doesn't blur or fuck up shit.

It's all tied to the post processing done by the enbseries.ini, the fog that I see here is either going to be the distance the fog starts fading (probably too close to the character) or the bloom levels are fucked and makes everything turn white as a result. The enb configs are in no way a perfect solution, but if the base game wasn't to your liking I would suggest sticking with a config that suits your fancy. I've spent more time working on my config to resolve the fog issue, and this is the closest I could get. [t]http://static.skyrimnexus.com/downloads/images/5171-1-1326166572.jpg[/t] Problem with this specific config, my fog range is so far away that it usually doesn't show up at farther distances, which makes the mountains look really dark. I'm still working on a good balance though. And I just checked my config on the nexus for the first time in a few days, and I just broke 1100 downloads!

I get used to the Yadda config over time, but it always bug me every now and then how washed out things get, so I always turn it off to see how it would look without it on and I go "well, it's better to have it on, although I like the contrast better with it off". It's always there to bug me that it has major flaws but is still better.

So I made an Argonian 2-handed heavy armor smithing/enchanting. as his main skills. My first companions quest (besides talking to the leader) go to the Falmer cave and kill the Falmer leader. "Falmers at level 3? Well that doesn't sound right." I proceed into the cave to be greeted by at least 20 charus, 6 falmers and a fucking centurion. I basically lured the falmer leader out slashed the shit out of him and then kited out of that cave so fast.

I realized today that I was having trouble figuring out what I wanted to drop, and decided to drop all my potions besides Healing/Magic/Stamina potions. I'm now carrying 75 lbs (What unit of measurement does Skyrim use for weight?) less.
oh god wat
Before I found out Bethesda fix outstanding glitches like politicians fix problems, ash piles still being buggy scars on your save forever, and non-Master resurrection spells cause your slaves to crumble into dust, I was thinking about making a necromancer who was completely obsessed with death and the undead where she would hang out in crypts and barrows and see tons of corpses as a sign of safety. If Bethesda doesn't fix ash piles (a bug since FALLOUT 3 with numerous mods fixing it) then I am going to be very, very angry. I know staves and the Ritual Stone power allow continuous reanimation of the same body but I would much rather be able to do it with a spell. Also, I think you should be able to make hoards of weak undead to swarm people and to give weaker zombies a chance to contribute.

And I only actually use health now and then. Stamina and mana just pile up.

I just released a V3 with the most recent version of ENB, and it fixes most problems from what I've gathered so far.
