Just joined the college on my Passive/Defensive guy, this should be fun.
Im using destruction at the moment id like a mix so what should i go for destruction/?
A Night to Remember was so strange for me. I found Sam in Whiterun, did the contest, and ended up in Markarth. The priest there was telling me to clean up some mess or something, but there was nothing to do there. Ysolda was telling me about that ring or whatever, and I just paid for it, and she told me about some place to go? I followed the marker to some dining place where Sanguine was, and apparently I had some items I found to give to him? Then he gave me the staff. I don't really know how the quest is supposed to work, but I'm pretty sure I missed something. Oh, and as a result of this quest, some asshole came up to me and forced a dialogue while I was fighting a tough bandit, which caused me to get decapitated. THANKS One of my favorite quests in the game is actually the Forsworn Conspiracy. My main character was a goody two-shoes for the most part, just smiting bandits and dragons and the like (which is why Riften was such a pain. NO I DIDN'T STEAL THIS GEM ASSHOLE. NO BRYNOLF I DON'T WANT TO HELP YOU, YOU CRIMINAL SCUM). However, this quest changed the rules, with the whole town turning against you and being forced into an extremely hostile situation. Although it was pretty buggy sometimes, it really changed things up the most.
Cidna(?) mine was really disappointing. They way everyone talked about it, it seemed like a huge cavern full of guards working prisoners to death. I was expecting a multistage plan and awesome getaway, but instead there were 5 spiders.
Im using destruction at the moment id like a mix so what should i go for destruction/?
Conjuration.
Conjuration.
im stuck between conjuration illusion and alteration
im stuck between conjuration illusion and alteration
Illusion is good but its only good if you put a big investment in it. (atronach) Conjuration is arguably the most useful skill for conventional mages. Illusion is better used by nightblade/stealthmagey types, for invisibility and frenzy.. it only remains really useful if you unlock the entire skill tree; you can frenzy high level undead, robots, etc and you can turn invisible whenever you want...
Where the fuck is FXAA Injector? And what happened to it?
I finished BANNED USER's Graphics Mod overview spent a lot of time trying to make it a really close comparison with performance figures. I plan to do videos like this for lots of the shader mods.
I find BANNED's config makes dark just a little too dark. The moon's are always full in Skyrim, and you can see pretty well at night when the moon's full. But maybe that's just me.
Is there a mod that stops the player from following the camera when they are just walking/running forward in third person? It bothers me that I can't look at the front of my character while they are auto-walking.
so ive decided that the only truly creative and fun quest is sheogorath's quest, and even that one is really short. god damn the quests are so repetitive it makes me so sad and also angry
sheogoraths quest feels like "okay let's write this as random as possible!!!!!!!"
sheogoraths quest feels like "okay let's write this as random as possible!!!!!!!"
to be fair sheogorath is pretty much the god of random
sheogoraths quest feels like "okay let's write this as random as possible!!!!!!!"
That was the point, he's the Daedric prince of madness everything he does is pretty much random and chaotic. Ninjas.
That was the point, he's the Daedric prince of madness everything he does is pretty much random and chaotic. Ninjas.
because madness = being random ,righT???!!
That was the point, he's the Daedric prince of madness everything he does is pretty much random and chaotic. Ninjas.
Yeah but he needs to make sense at the same time, otherwise it's just script-shitting madness, instead of interesting madness.
because madness = being random ,righT???!!
Sheogorath in Oblivion acted the exact same way and no one bitched. I don't see why you're deciding to complain now.
sheogoraths quest feels like "okay let's write this as random as possible!!!!!!!"
which was a boatload of fun
there seems to be missing companion quests in my log...
I want more Sheogorath.
Sheogorath in Oblivion acted the exact same way and no one bitched. I don't see why you're deciding to complain now.
i've always thought of it this way though it's like bethesda don't want their characters to have any depth
Oh boy http://skyrimnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=6395
I want more Sheogorath.
I had no idea what to do with the wabbajack and the atronachs, I even found a glitch and jumped down into the pit, but couldn't get back up.
I've seen some shit
There needs to be an Elder Scrolls game that takes place back when the dwarves were still around. In fact, the whole main plot could revolve around whatever it was that made all the dwarves mysteriously disappear. Also it'd be kinda cool if there was a game that took place in Hammerfell. Since we just had a wintry game, the next one could be in the desert.
I just want an Elder Scrolls game that has a ton of monster variations, more basic clothes, and lots of spells.
Y'know, I hear a lot of people say that Bethesda dumbed Skyrim down for consoles, but I don't really get the vibe that it was just because "Hurr console plaers ar dum :downs:" (Besides the fairly awful menus, I suppose), it just feels like Bethesda's become obsessed with player convenience. Like they had heard so many complaints about some of the unnecessarily inconvenient things in Morrowind or maybe Daggerfall that they just snapped and started stripping out everything that might be inconvenient for the player, which makes it feel like they're unintentionally patronizing the player. Have to admit, it's getting a bit out of hand. Almost every quest that has the objective "Find X in Y area" now tells you exactly where the object you're looking for is, instead of just directing you to the right cell or whatever. It takes a lot of player interest and immersion away when they're being led by the nose 90% of the time, but Bethesda thinks of it as "Well, if they can't find what they're looking for, they might get bored or frustrated and stop playing", which is just downright silly. The thing that annoys me about this the most is that just getting a mod that removes the compass or objective markers doesn't fix the issue, because a lot of quests are designed around having it activated, so the description for a lot of them isn't detailed enough to get to the objectives without the marker and aaaaaaa bethesda why the fuck are you so obsessed with sucking the player's cock.
I pieced together a metal frankenstein of what used to be Lydia out of the best elemental resistant heavy armor with the best one handed sword I could find for free. It looks like she fell in a steel forge filled with vomit but she's stronger than a Nokia 3310.
After watching BRT's video with the comparison of my config. I realized my bloom and direct lighting was far too high. It made Whiterun, well, really white. So I pulled back a few things and released an update file that consists of only the ini that fixes those issues completely, I'd say this is the final version. [t]http://skyrimnexus.com/downloads/images/5171-3-1326787457.jpg[/t] [t]http://skyrimnexus.com/downloads/images/5171-1-1326787457.jpg[/t] [t]http://skyrimnexus.com/downloads/images/5171-2-1326787457.jpg[/t] [t]http://skyrimnexus.com/downloads/images/5171-5-1326787458.jpg[/t] I really hope this'll do it. If you already have one of my older builds, just get the update file. If you don't have it yet, get the main file. It contains everything you need. All you really need to do is drop it to your root skyrim folder.
It took the help of BRT to point them out so I could fix them, glad you see improvement. Currently I'm getting some timelapses going of key locations. I'm going to do a 24hr of Half Moon Mill, can anyone think of any other locations they'd like to see a timelapse in?
