Patch notes.
I like this patch. The only real problem is now that all the VIP's are playing with the free players, the chat is just full of "lol owning these nubs", "lrn 2 ski", "look at all those pay-to-wins", etc.

I'm a VIP and I can assure you that the VIP servers were fairly empty compared to the free ones and going on the free servers was always better anyway cause you had 6 classes to destroy everything with while everyone else was just on their 1st unlocked class
Also people said that stuff before the patch too, most argued that anyone with a class different to the first 2 were "pay2winners", even the ones that weren't were called that
I think I got called many things cause I had Infiltrator, the most annoying generator destroyer in the game
Still haven't gotten in the beta.

Thing to remember is this is a F2P game and having more classes is just a convenience, everyone can still win with skill and the base 2 classes are fairly good anyway, having decent health and decent damage

yeah i'm averaging 80 credits per match, need 15,000 for the first class.

Alright so I've been playing for about two hours and it kinda reminds me of Starsiege and Tribes 2, that's definitely a good thing but from what I played, it's every man for himself in a way. Of course people are guarding the flags and defending the generators but beyond that, there isn't much teamwork. Really enjoying the game though.

Play with friends, or find someone else on the team during the game who seems to want to work together, and stay with him.
Basically similar to what you have to do in GA.
They really need to change the class system. Its way too limiting, maybe make it so you can purchase armors and weapons
From what I played this game is amazing fun and really does stay true to the predecessors ,but goddamn unlocking anything in this game is difficult. If you want to enjoy the full game you'll pretty much have to buy the classes. I'm hoping they change it so it doesn't give the people who payed for the a game an enormous advantage.

The only complaint I have with the game is the class system. The rest is basically amazing.
I really, really hope they raise the token rewards in the full game
they should make it like LoL and have 1-2 different free classes a week or something

It wont.
Beta will be slowly patched to final build. All progress made in Beta will carry over to final.
Gamesradar are giving away beta keys, but their site isn't working, and by the time it is back i will be unable to get on/they will be gone.

I remember playing starsiege, I loved it so much. I'd play it non stop, all those brilliant mods, the ease, and how things like jetpacks made the game so unique. I can't play it anymore, because it doesn't work on windows 7. I've tried many times, all failed.
My heart is warmed because I might have a chance to play tribes again.
