another raider nerf
thats the only class i could play because it was so easy to spam grenades
Wish the jug's mortar exploded on contact no matter the distance
Cool I got in to the beta! Will download it tonight sometime hopefully.
I'm getting real fucking tired of the soldier spinfuser oneshotting me even on non direct hits, that never fucking happens with the light or heavy spinfuser.
And is it just me or is the tech underpowered as fuck? I've had soldiers run up to my fucking turret and just melee it to death.
i seriously hate Hi-Command. it breaks on every update. Forcing me to reinstall it and tribes ascend
Go into enemy base -> 4 techies and 2 juggernauts camping out with upgraded turrets.
Go into my own base -> 4 Juggernauts camping out spamming grenades everywhere.
Traverse the goddamn map at any point -> Raped by missiles and Juggernauts camping out on the hills.
I'm starting to regret spending 1800 tokens on Pathfinder when I'm being out-muscled by a class that costs half as much. Seriously Hi-Rez, what were you thinking?

You only spend 1800 tokens, jeez. I paid 260 gold for it but I'm not disappointed by it regardless. I think it's a rather fun class, jumper isn't from my it as well. The pathfinder isn't meant to take any damage head on and, after some time, being able to traverse the map at a greater level of experience will allow someone to play the pathfinder as a rather annoying and hopefully deadly class. To be honest this experience you've had is not one I've ever had and I think its just a matter of chance how that all happened to you.
someone went 443 km/h
gotta go fast

You can ski so easily and move so fast you should be able to speed through a few turrets and not die. Sometimes there can be heavy defenses blocking you from capping, but at that point it's time to switch to soldier and clean it up if your team wont do it.
Once again at home base, sometimes your teams defense just can't pull it together, but it's still no fault of the class.
Pathfinders can destroy juggernauts because they have so much energy and can easily change course to avoid the mortars, as long as you are outdoors, you are a pretty tough match for them thanks to good weapons and crazy maneuverability.
Same deal when out in midfield, you have so many options on where to go as the pathfinder, you can take the shittiest path ever and still come out >150 speed.
If you are getting targeted by missiles a lot, you are spending too much time in the air and should try to plan your long-term routes better.

1800 tokens is absolutely nothing and the 15 or so games it will take to earn them back is no where near the period of time it will take you to master a class in this game.
It sounds more like you chose the wrong class, which is understandable because the loadout system is pretty crap.
Started playing Tech. Wish my deployable turrets would level-up with kills or could be upgraded like a regular turret. Fun class though.
hnngh, how do I get tokens.
I'm stuck at like, 350
I got a beta key, I registered it, made my account, installed the beta, but every time I launch the beta I can't login. It tells me my username/password is incorrect but it isnt. What do I do?
Sweet jesus I got invited to the beta.
OHHH YESSSSS! I just got the beta key from a youtube comment.

Base turrets are pretty easy to dodge, I'm just talking about the techie turrets which are hard to dodge when you're surrounded by them.

The username is case sensitive, just in case you didn't know.
Anyone have the sniper class? It's been pretty effective when used against me, and I've seen much enemy rage over the occasional friendly sniper.
Your thoughts on it?
I've been thinking about getting VIP, worth it?

So far it's ok, i only encoutered one capable sniper so far and they can be really annoying.
Really hard to get close to them if they know what they are doing.
Normaly if i get spotted by a good sniper i just leg it and wait for him to lose interest in me, after that either drop a tactical strike on him or flank him.
I do really like how in this game how the turrets are rather effective. Plenty of base turrets in game are a joke to dodge because they shoot at where you were, not where you are going to be.

Turrets are really easy to dodge, just release your jets for a half second when you hear it fire.

If you're referring to purchasing the pre-order package, do it. The boost and VIP bonus combined in your first month (likely to be your most active one) will allow you to collect all the current classes and then some extra tokens to spend by the end of the 30-day booster for sure. Moreover, the 50% bonus remains forever and is also quite nice. The boost would be more effective than buying gold though, if you weren't thinking of the pre-order package.
Is this game somewhere as fast paced as quake live?

Yeah I mean the pre-order pack. When does the full game come out anyway?
Turrets are really easy to dodge, just release your jets for a half second when you hear it fire.
Compared to turrets that fire where you are at the moment though.

I've no idea but it's worth the $30 because I suspect I'll be playing this game for a while. Though, I would also like to know when it officially releases.
Is this game somewhere as fast paced as quake live?
Just as if not much much faster paced.
N.B. Speaking in terms of absolute speed and not relative to the size of maps etc.
I swear having played Heavy in TF2 is like the ultimate anti-infiltrator training.
I still cant install the Hi-Command. I had to uninstall it because of a folder conflict and when I tried re.installing it, it always says its already installed. So I got the Beta key and can't play.
I've already tried more than one way to uninstall it and I've removed all records from hi-rez from the registry, still a no go.
Did anyone ever solve this?
Thanks

Quake? Ha!, that's comparing a golf cart to a fighter plane.
Great, finally got HiCommand to work.
Got another beta key while on it, is that one bound to the account, or could I give it away?
