That's a good point, it is utterly impossible to defend.
Hilariously though it seems the best way to defend is to simply drive a tank down the conduit and blast anyone who comes down :v:

The key point here is that games can feel terribly unfair because teams are regularly unbalanced; not in terms of equipment, but in terms of skill. That doesn't make it pay-to-win, it just means they need to take away the ability to choose teams and auto-assign them.

What makes Bella Omega even worse is that not only is the generator really difficult to defend, it being destroyed confers the opposing team a major advantage, by opening up flag-capture routes, that you just don't see in other maps. Add in the rather poor terrain for skiing and you easily have the worst map of the roster.
The only thing I like about Bella Omega is the skybox; what are those strange spirals?
Juggernaut is the best class.
+150km/h flag caps at Katabatic, no enemy can follow the juggernaut, because mortar and heavy spinfusor.
The mortar is probably my favourite weapon right now. It's especially hilarious indoors, since you can either force an enemy to take another route (into your spinfusor) or then have them blown to bits because mortar does ridiculous damage.
infiltrator is disappointing
you can see the outlines of cloaked people making it impossible to hide near enemies that have eyes, when using the pistol past point blank range you have to lead your target by a few meters which makes it incredibly hard to hit a moving target, and to take out a heavy you have to get atleast one sticky on them and then finish them with the pistol because even a melee hit will only take them down to like 75%
also the cloaking gets bugged sometimes where it acts like you're being jammed even though you're not
why do i do best when i'm trying the less? i just got "the slayer" (25 kills without dying i think?) playing technician, i had 2 well hidden turrets that kept killing those damn pathfinders that went in our base and i was just killing so many people with the smg, 2 orbital strikes later with 2 quadra kills i had it
in another game i was literally playing the game with 1 hand as doombringer, i had a forcefield on katabatic that was going along a popular capping path, i killed a bunch of pathfinders that kept trying to cap the flag and i was killing people with the saber launcher constantly, mostly a lot of grav cycles, i finished the game 26-1

It's pretty easy when you get the hang of it. Before I joined any games I tried the maps solo in the tutorial section (or w/e).
I keep on dropping connection about 5 minutes into a game. Is it just me, or does it happen to anyone else?

The raider's SMG doesn't either. yet the preview images of the jumper, brute and pathfinder have the proper models. odd.
Unlocked the Brute last night and my god fractal grenades are awesome...maybe too awesome.

Weird as hell how they have it in previews but not in-game.
Hopefully it's just a beta thing they'll work out, since it would be helpful in telling the difference between say a jumper and a pathfinder.

It's tough to balance, because combined with turret fire the tech deals huge damage, but without the turrets (say the gen goes down and techie has to go down and fix it) it's too weak.
