Y'know, we've all seen the Diamond Sword warrior using a big ol' sword in the trailer, but is that gonna happen in the game? Hopefully as a special weapon for the Diamond Sword.

yeah the classic starsiege game was pretty amazing too
As great as this all sounds, it's most likely going to be another heavily consolised monstrosity trying to ride off of the legacy of a great videogame the target audience has never heard of.

the guys making it made GA; GA was a spinoff of Tribes because they didn't have the rights. now they do.
it's hard to tell how it's really going to turn out. None of us know if it's going to have the classic Tribes gameplay style to it or if it's going to appeal to a bigger audience by having more traditional MMO-style additions.
tbh I wouldn't mind GA's character customization on top of the loadout customization of Tribes but I'm not fond of the idea of leveling up at all
