Serious Sam 3 BFE makes me wanna throw my mouse and my laptop out the fucking window (forgive the quality, steam screenies and I was playing on low settings)
Yep, and that's exactly how Serious Sam should be! The final level of Serious Sam 2 is an hour long exercise in constantly escalating combat.
Don't you hate when someone posts some intriguing screenshot and doesn't mention the name of the game?
I think it's Fable 3, not sure though. [editline]8th January 2012[/editline] Ninjas.
Here's some Anno 1404, this game is great, it has immense depth but learning how to play it is really fun and rewarding. And the micro-detail in it is astonishing, the amount of effort the developers put in it really is amazing, shows they really care in making a quality game. Here's my settlement in it's beginning stages when it was only 500+ strong. Fast forward about an hour later and my settlement pretty much triples in size and population is now over 2,500. North of the island is where I produce all my essential supplies: Hemp, drinks, wood, clothing, stone, and food. The little things are what make this game, your townsfolk actually do things and interact with the environment. From children playing around the church or people on the streets talking to one another, even doing things like drinking outside the town bar and some even get into drunken brawls in the streets. You can have jousting tournaments too! I eventually hit the 3,500 mark for population, with most of the population consisting of citizens, with the peasant quarter over to the south end of the island. (right side in the picture) Still some more peasant houses that I need to change over on the left tho. That's all for now, hoped some of you liked it.

I always get pissed off after playing it for awhile though because once you advance into the later stages of the game it's really hard to keep everyone happy when you import from all over the map.
Managed to nab over 129,000 worth of stuff (glass pauldrons, ebony cuirass and greaves and ebony shield being part of that) from the redoran treasury. Unfortunately they're not in very good shape.
Back when Khajiits (and Argonians I think) weren't allowed shoes.
Back when Khajiits (and Argonians I think) weren't allowed shoes.
I kind of wish they were still like that, makes them look/feel unique, just as long as they were given advantages to balance out the disadvantages.
What mod/map/whatever is this? [editline].[/editline] Or is it the editor?
the first one is just normal crysis 2 the second is in crysis 1's editor with this mod http://www.crydev.net/downloads.php?view=detail&df_id=3584
it's pretty much a movie file plastered on to a low-poly 3d sculpt of a face that's why the eyes are flat, period with no depth at ALL, why the face textures are low-res AND it's why things like the nostrils and lips aren't wrapped entirely in the right spot. some facial anims are so weird at times because half of the lip "texture" folds under the character's mouth [editline]8th January 2012[/editline] it's good in concept but it's hardly perfected. a lot of the things like the facial wrinkles could have been done with normal mapping and/or modeling but instead the devs insisted on using these videos that overlap on to the faces
Everyone should play Ass creed revelations, they did it right. The facial anims in that game are awesome without losing detail. Uses the same tech as L.A. Noire.
how can you find Rockstar overrated every single game they have ever made has been completely and totally amazing, the amount of polish and detail they put into their games is ridiculous and lol "open world is the only thing Rockstar really knows how to do." WHAT
I just don't find their games very fun. I thought GTA had shitty driving and boring repetitive missions. LA Noire kinda put a twist on things but I felt that like GTA the driving and shooting controls were over all crap. The only game from them I really liked was probably Red Dead Redemption. Also what the fuck is up with the walking? When you stop walking your body stops it doesn't trip over it own feet and slides 3 meters and then running and sprinting have the same effect.

I tried out Star Trek Online with a friend. It was alright. Most of the fun though was us laughing at our abominations. I have this huge lower section with broad hips and sturdy legs while my upper body is weak as shit. Add a large as hell head to that and you got quite the character. Here's some pathetic dancing. Made more progress, created a wall surrounding the majority of the settlements for no reason other than it looks cool, also added onto the peasant quarters Wall near peasant quarters has a gate to it, leading to a harbor that has a pier with warehouses on it. I also expanded the settlement upwards across the river I also created more Patrician houses (social class above Citizen, with Peasant being the lowest class and is before Citizen), yet I had neglected the hemp supply and forget that there would be an increased need for clothing (made from hemp), so the Patricians got all angry and started rioting out in the streets! not my statues! :( I touched up the other section of the settlement across the river too Tossed in a couple statues n shit Also created several more hemp fields and a two more linen garments (clothing) buildings, yet it still doesn't meet the demand of the population. Alll for now

D'you need a beefy computer to run Anno 1404? Or does it seem to handle fairly well..
