It's just the fact that my PC isn't good to handle it maxed out.
I've maxed it out on my system with 32xAA and HBAO at 2560x1600 and I still think it looks bad. [editline]20th January 2012[/editline]
As if BF3's bloom is any better.
It's much better. BC2's looks like something done in a cheap video editor at this point.
Thats what I hate about BF3. Tankbusters dog fighting, stupidest thing EVER
Hey, it's better than killing a bunch of people and dropping a nuke on the battlefield Like in some other games
Tiledshot 4
wat
wat
Engine feature that allows you to take screenshots at a much higher resolution than what your computer is actually capable of. It takes "tiles" of what you see, renders them at high resolution, then composites them together into one massive image. Enabling "TiledShot 3x3" in Mass Effect 2, for example, will allow me to get screenshots that are 5040x3150, which I can then scale down to get insanely crisp images.
[t]http://img189.imageshack.us/img189/5708/xplane2012012018433620.png[/t] xplane 10 demo
How does it perform?
its a timed 15 minute demo so i didnt bother to set up my controller properly but it seemed to perform quite well better than fsx with similar settings. the demo doesnt contain that much scenery so its only 3gb rather than the 70+ of the full sim should probably just download it if your interested, the interface is a bit shitty it list airports you dont have scenery for and when you do find one that works you have usually have to pick the starting point more than once as there is no visual reference in the interface as to where you are starting
Hmm, tried that smooth GIF technique out in VirtualDub, result:
Do you by chance use a joystick? If not, please take me as your apprentice. If you use a console controller, then by god please share your mapping!
Vietnam flashbacks man, they're good for revenge plans.
couple more xplane 10 screens, all stock aircraft [t]http://img39.imageshack.us/img39/5283/xplane2012012020415336.png[/t] [t]http://img15.imageshack.us/img15/6439/xplane2012012020492357.png[/t] [t]http://img24.imageshack.us/img24/1961/xplane2012012020563069.png[/t] [t]http://img210.imageshack.us/img210/285/xplane2012012021051325.png[/t]

xplane 9 was 74GB and only came on 6 dvd's, 10 comes on 8 dual layer dvds so its going to be more for a full install
what the fuck [editline]20th January 2012[/editline] why
what the fuck [editline]20th January 2012[/editline] why
Scenery! That's why! If my flight stick wasn't 100 years old and broken I would buy it.
you don't need that much simulation [editline]20th January 2012[/editline] ever
xplane 9 was 74GB and only came on 6 dvd's, 10 comes on 8 dual layer dvds so its going to be more for a full install
Will be worth the 74 gigs if I can realistically drop a nuke somewhere in the sim
Thats what I hate about BF3. Tankbusters dog fighting, stupidest thing EVER
hahaha what
Will be worth the 74 gigs if I can realistically drop a nuke somewhere in the sim
X-plane has native support for weapons, and I'm sure there is a nuke mod somewhere. Also, the 70 gigs are mostly scenery, X-plane itself takes up about 1-2 and the rest is scenery. It has every single piece of land taken off google maps and every single airport in the world.
For some reason, the chopper gunners gun, does more damage to a jet than the JET does damage to a helicopter. So it seems like anyway. Also the guided missile for the jet needs to do more damage, or something. Every time I lock onto a tank, I don't even get a vehicle disabled. Only if other people are ganging up on it.
Hey, it's better than killing a bunch of people and dropping a nuke on the battlefield Like in some other games
Might be referring to more of a "realism" sense in that tankbusters generally don't engage other planes and aren't built for it. Its BF3 through, a staple of the series has always been slightly faster paced explosion-ey combat so you'd sort of buy the game for dogfighting a10s
hahaha what
it's like watching 2 fat cows fist fight. it's retarded.
it's like watching 2 fat cows fist fight. it's retarded.
even though the russian fighter/bomber is, you know, a fighter bomber and is perfectly capable of winning dogfights hell, even the a-10 is. the only thing the a-10 doesn't have is speed or maneuverability
Decimate by 2 works best in most cases
This is not really good. If you're making gifs that big you may as well just make a youtube video with audio. Gifs are best for stuff under 5 mb
yeah, really. it's getting pretty tiring of having to load 10+ mb gifs that aren't even really worth watching
Am I doing it right? [editline]20th January 2012[/editline] Also the Scenery is optional in X-Plane, you don't need to install it, you can select what you want to install, you just fly around NA? Ok just install the NA scenery.
