This is 300 years after a Nuclear Apocalypse. Heavy amounts of Radiation are still present, theres bands of raiders killing everything and everyone, theres a massive war between 2 massive factions, theres radioactive mutants, massive 7 foot tall mutants, zombies, and radiation. You wouldn't usually live past the age of 30 honestly, look at Somalia for example.

There are tons of old people in every Fallout game, the dialogue should have been more specific, I mean everyone talks about how you look like your dad so why not something like, "I'm looking for my father, he looks a lot like me, just middle-aged".
It's like the writers didn't even try.

Except it being a post-apocalypse, not many new people would go by a town like that. If you were looking for someone in a town with 25 inhabitants that knew eachother closely and you were sure that the person you're looking for went through the town in the same day, you wouldn't really need to describe in details, you'd just ask about someone and they'd figure it's the "new guy" that passed through earlier. Simple logic.

Dear god. Fallout 3 has a shit ton of bad writing and completely unnatural dialogue, and the part we choose to argue over is one small piece of crappy generic player character dialogue? Really?
It's still a great game. Put too many hours into it.

I loved that power in Stranglehold
Stranglehold was awesome, wish they made a second one.
Max Payne 3 is basically taking the destructible environments and cover from Stranglehold. The only thing missing is Chow Yun Fat, and we all know Max Payne is cooler than Chow Yun Fat.

Max Payne 3 is essentially a more refined and "dynamic" version of Stranglehold as far as gameplay goes, which is basically why most people seem to want it. There's some sadistic thrill found in seeing your enemies get brutally murdered with a slow-motion closeup, especially when you can see where the bullets entered. Euphoria just makes it all that much better.
