been thinking more about the donations. as I'm unemployed it makes keeping the server running difficult without outside help. as I really appreciate anything people can spare for the server I'd like to show some love in return. therefore I want to add a perks system which donators can benefit from.
I'm trying to think of what these perks could be. I don't want it to be game breaking like giving out stacks of diamonds and it's not going to be like a subscription service as it is a donation after all. just wondering if anyone has any suggestions for possible perks?

You forgot to add Cookiemaster into the whitelist.
About the perks; I'm not really sure they would work out here, since what you are going for with the server is a pure survival gamemode anyway. Anything of value would give a player an unfair sort of "cheat" thing.
You could possibly install an anti-grief plugin and make some grief-protected areas. Because everyone has a right to security.
How about a VIP area? Restrict where players can walk if it's possible or just wall it in and make it so people can't destroy the blocks. Then make it so only VIPs can enter. I suck at describing it.
It could be like some exclusive club.

An idea I had last night was that maybe only VIP's can load new chunks. This would help immensely.
