Numbelitia has risen from the wasteland once known as the swampland, ruled by two benevolent rulers, I, Numbaonah, and AHappyElite. Come live with us ! It's cozy in here.
But fear us, for if you dare tread on our lands with the intent of harm or misbehavery, may you forever remember the punishment and cruelty you will face.
gonna add the nation stuff to OP and tidy it up a little, so it's official. rules are void (to a degree) for people within nations. it's up to the rulers to deal with troublemakers, not me and rombis.
[editline]9th February 2014[/editline]
remember, obvious grief = obvious ban. common sense still applies!

Well the first rule we came up with when we wrote our first Laws was that all members must, above all, conform to all rules set forth by server administration. Seems like it could be a more important rule, now.
can i get whitelisted please

I'm posting to propose borders for Erimor. Should there be enough objection I will modify our claims. Dark purple represents the borders that ronnoc and I currently propose. The Light Purple border represents the approximate area we would give to Woovie. Woovie, if you planned on using more space, let us know and we will accommodate to whatever suits your needs. We don't want to suffocate you. The area in green represents areas that are currently in use by Members of Erimor, and areas in yellow represent areas with short-term planned use. The Southern border of Erimor would be determined by wherever the Mountains and surrounding Taiga end.

it started out as something much less important, but turned into something more.
the server originally started 2 days ago I believe as a temporary place to stay while Max No Relax was getting up on its feet again. I was thinking of shutting it down again when Max No Relax got up again but a few of the guys playing on here wanted it to stay, so I've let it stay open.

server is currently whitelisted. if you want to join, post your IG name and and I'll gladly add you to the whitelist
the current admins are me (PredGD on forums and in game) and mrmr (in game Rombis). both of us have access to restart server and do whitelists, so fire any questions towards us both if there are any.
we're running spigot, which is based on craftbukkit. we're 100% vanilla in terms of gameplay, but we do have some plugins!
gonna have to post a few rules because that's smart yo
as much fun as I had with Tripp and our tribal warfare, I realized I had to put a few rules. got a few thoughts during our funtimes
-
since I really appreciate the help to pay for the server, I've decided to give donators perks as a thank you. I've not restricted anything vanilla, only added upon for donators to mess around with.
to make sure you get your perks, please PM me the transaction ID given by PayPal after you've donated and tell me what you want.
single perks
packages
keep in mind that I'm currently only experimenting with this. if you guys feel like this is a big rip off or the donation amount is too steep for certain perks, let me know. I've tried my best to make it both appealing, yet not conflict with gameplay so the balance between non-donators and donators should be okay.

I copied this map into paint.net, and then used the freeform selection tool to highlight the areas you are using and have immediate plans for. Since each pixel represents a square meter, I measured Erimor to be 8.3 square kilometers. The area of the land within the proposed purple borders is about 26.7 square kilometers. That means only about 31% of the land inside the purple is anything close to developed. I doubt the land outside of the yellow and green is even adequately explored.
I recommend trimming a bit off the edges.
Looking at it again, I realize that the scale is slightly off (since individual pixels aren't visible, I likely underestimated total area,) but the ratio is still correct- the land is only 31% settled.
Some one griefed my outhouse sign and wrote "shitter" I fixed it and it is now back to
'Ye Olde Poophouse'
Perhaps there should be a map in the OP with all the nations on it, so people know what belongs to who and where to build/not build etc.
Can you whitelist Dan0o9

I'll work on something like that once people have declared their areas, etc etc

That does not mean there are not long-term plans for those other areas. Those areas are lands that will be given to those who choose to join Erimor. And no, we've explored all of our current boundaries. I know the area fairly well, and ronnoc knows it much better. It also provides adequate buffer between our nation and those around it.
Edit: Edit: I've upated the map with our current and planned roads (there will likely be many more). We plan to dot them with buildings and whatnot. I also blacked out areas I would be willing to keep out of our border.

This seems more reasonable, thanks. I've played on plenty of servers in the past where powerful cities/regions get really greedy with land, and it gets frustrating for everyone else fast because they'll rarely negotiate. This new map looks more like a 50/50 ratio and that's fair in my book.
I'm considering establishing a nation too. It would share a small part of your eastern border (the western indentation at about -450 south), contain the mountainous ring southeast of that, as well as the two peninsulas south of spawn. I'd call it the Vokzal Region, and it would be about a quarter the size of Erimor.

I think when connor decided on this he specifically chose the mountain region since it was so ugly and barren looking that no one would miss it if he claiemed it

If you do, we could set up a road between our two nations, if you'd like.

Actually I (jtylerblue1) chose them. We both like building in mountain biomes because we like building castles and towers that overlook the land and building into the mountains. We also find them aesthetically pleasing.

Based off what I can tell, your red planned development is incredibly close to where Woovie is currently based. Why you're planning on giving him a little island he hasn't touched, I have no flipping idea, but let me show you exactly where his base (which has been there for WEEKS) is and how close you are:
(Where the hand is is his base, [-1500x, 0z]).
Woovie's been building there for weeks and based off what I can tell, your red planned development line is basically right next to where he has built, if not right on top of it. I think you need to check the area for other bases before you start "claiming" these lands, because Woovie has lived there for literally 2+ weeks now.
the red is a road dude
Still incredibly close to where he is, and I don't think he wants people assuming he is with you people and having his shit stolen because of it.
Let's put it this way, where that "road" is is basically right where his base ends up starting. If obtuse people see that and see his base, knowing the road is connected to this kingdom, they're going to assume he's part of it and he is not. He doesn't want his stuff taken, and by building your kingdom that close to him, whether it be just a road or not, is going to entice people to try and steal from him.

Chill out. It was an idea. I was obviously going to ask Woovie, and it would CLEARLY be outside of our outer walls. No need to be pissy.
[editline]10th February 2014[/editline]
Splitty: My bad for the misunderstanding on the server. Never meant to piss you off and I shouldn't have been a dick and called you names. Just felt like I was arguing with a brick wall. This is why we're negotiating now rather than later. Just to make sure no one's bothered by the borders of a nation in a game about digging fucking blocks.
Further revised borders to ensure that not too much space goes unused and nearby bases are not endangered by our presence. If anyone has qualms let me know.
