First of all, I deleted the email associated with my old account and I lost the password so I couldn't get in back, also I made that name a long time ago. It's not really necessary you judge someone by their name.

I dunno about you guys, but over here it's winter holidays now, so I imagine quite a few people are away. I am atleast.

I've been playing space engineers or KSP tbh. I need a certain feel and inspiration to play minecraft.
I've honestly lost the interest a little.
at a certain point, for me at least, it gets too stale for me. build, get resources, rinse and repeat. I'd prefer a more adventure geared server (modded) without all the tekkit and advanced stuff. magic, adventure, etc.
was thinking of getting a modpack together with a few mods to launch on a second server (got loads of memory free on the VPS) just to see the general opinion of that. what do you guys think about that? it's understandable if you guys want to remain vanilla and I have no plans to ditch the vanilla stuff, only to test something new as mods is a fairly unknown territory to me.

I'm keen to see what you will come up with.
I'm sort of inclined to only play on vanilla servers, I just need the occasional intermittent hiatus and some inspiration to bring me back.

TBH that would be brilliant. I remember the old times, when almost all players from a single server lived in a single community... DAMN those were good times.
copy the current world to a new server with a mod pack and then regenerate all levels below y 15
