I was actually able to get Connor my coords and he built a nice little cobble platform/staircase over the nether spawn.
more modded server stuff
added dragon mounts too, so that's pretty cool. think I'm going to slow down with the mods affecting terrain gen, considering it'll mess up the world a lot in the end. thinking of doing a final wipe and settling down on mods after that, opinions from you guys playing on there?
also, if you want more mods this is the time to suggest. I won't add more mods for a decent while after next wipe (if we do any) other than client mods to the modpack.

I am sad to announce that Erimor's greatest literary work, man who saw you, has recently gone missing.
I made my house out of smooth stone and dug it into a cliff face. I discovered an odd cobblestone patch on my ceiling today. I guess I should put a sign on that hill so no more miners fall into my crops.
I'm not sure what mods are on your server, but if magic is your thing, you can never go wrong with Thaumcraft
Tinker's Construct is also really fun to play with, too.

I guess if I can throw a mod to look at possibly for magic, I'd check out [url=https://sites.google.com/site/witcherymod/home]Witchery[/url]. I heard it was ok but I haven't dabbled in it much myself.
Also gawsh, this has grown so much since it was just a replacement for MNR, I'm gonna have to visit more often. Hopefully I'm still whitelisted!

Problem: every time I join using the Technic Launcher, it says I'm missing IDs from Ars Magicka and Mystcraft. I don't imagine what I'm doing wrong. Any ideas?

Okay server is back up. With twice the number of CPUs and twice the amount of memory we should be good for a while.
and we've upgraded! from 4GB RAM to 8GB RAM, dual core CPU to quad core CPU. both servers should run pretty fluently now!

The rail is now operational, it runs from Spawn through Vokzal all the way to the border with Erimor. Now if only they'd get around to building a station on their end...
Also, I'm having trouble attracting residents to Vokzal. I'm offering a horse with a saddle, iron armor, and nametag to the first person who becomes a resident here and builds a modern home.
