I wonder how K&W's shuttle is going.
5m iirc.
umm..... actually...
Okay, so it won't look too silly then strapped on top of a 3m launch vehicle.
you might want to use two.... or three.... it is an ssto after all :D
I wonder how K&W's shuttle is going.
Have they posted any screenshots?
Oh, and I'm using your Durgun on the interplanetary craft.
Oh, and I'm using your Durgun on the interplanetary craft.
oh? that is a good idea. should voice special parachutes.
Have they posted any screenshots?
Ones in Winstonn's modelling program. (3DS Max is my educated guess) I like Autodesk's products myself.
Have they posted any screenshots?
I have seen some unposted ones. I think he is adding RCS? i showed him Boolean in 3ds max so i am sure there are some things he wants to change with it :) [editline]14th January 2012[/editline]
Ones in Winstonn's modelling program. Oh, cardboard, your Failcan9+2x3 .craft tips towards the tower almost immediately.
I use Inventor.
Oh, cardboard, your Failcan9+2x3 .craft tips towards the tower almost immediately.
odd. never had problems with it. I dislike how kerbal loads crafts differently on different machines.
Spitballing here, I think it has something to do with how long it takes the computer to load it.
Spitballing here, I think it has something to do with how long it takes the computer to load it.
use the regular heavy perhaps.
Spitballing here, I think it has something to do with how long it takes the computer to load it.
You got an Intel Core2 Q6600 and some cheap shit GPU right?
Aye aye captain
5m iirc.
That's insane. I love the idea of a gigantic shuttle strapped to an even more ridiculous rocket :v:
I use Inventor.
Probably as good a place to ask as any other so what the hell is the difference between all these autodesk things? Which is best for stuff like KSP parts?
That's insane. I love the idea of a gigantic shuttle strapped to an even more ridiculous rocket :v: Probably as good a place to ask as any other so what the hell is the difference between all these autodesk CAD things? Which is best for stuff like KSP parts?
it shouldn't be strapped to anything. stuff should be strapped to it. and it is not 5 wide lol. the cabbin tunnel is 0.8 m and the stuff it leads into a 1 meter tube. there are 7 1 meter engine mounts on the back. should say it is bigger than 5m :D It looks good on the pad. don't worry. also, very outdated picture. [editline]14th January 2012[/editline] I am looking at my 100% custom made (no lego direction only my mind) LAAT and I wonder if we could ever mke one for kerbal .
Should make some explosive bolt scaffolding for it so it won't fall over.
Yay i finaly got KSP to download
On the topic of the forums: Nova is an attention-whore. He wants people to fret over his "leaving". Personally, I say good riddance. And on the topic of the game: Holy HELL, Box; that looks AMAZING! And I Love the whole assembling-the-internals-thing.
Not the point. Dropbox doesn't make you wait for a download.
I don't know if you were talking about my mirrors. First link is a direct download from my webspace. (no ads/waiting time) Second link uploaded.to, for people who have an account. Third link, click on it and click direct download, no waiting time + other one click hoster for people with accounts. And by the way. You have a 10GB/day limit on dropbos which is about 100 downloads of KSP. https://www.dropbox.com/help/45
Applied for the mod position, endorse me my minions, endorse! Muahahaha.
Applied for the mod position, endorse me my minions, endorse! Muahahaha.
Only if you promise to permaban all the retards.
I'd only ban within the rules for banning set by Harvester etc.

I've noticed a slight change in orbit if you just wait. Maybe you'll get close enough to slow down.
I can't remember what height the atmosphere ends, but your orbit might decay enough after a while until you can enter the atmosphere.
I let my capsule orbit about twenty times, watching the PE/AP for any degradation... it stayed the same. :(
I let my capsule orbit about twenty times, watching the PE/AP for any degradation... it stayed the same. :(
Seems you're well out of even the thinnest section of atmosphere, then :c Fear not, for they died an honourable death, in the pursuit of science and Jeb's massive erection for massive rockets :v:
PROBLEM SOLVED! Maybe... I redesigned the LEM. She may be tall, ugly and unwieldy, but it works, and more importantly... ...features the patented "Kerbol Return Stage"! ;) ...So hopefully this solves my problems. Gonna go check now.
That rocket engine is so weak it takes a long time to slow down. I crashed on the mun twice before accepting that a lander configuration like yours just doesn't work. You need more fuel for the return flight and a stronger rocket engine to slow down quickly if you judged the distance wrong.
