Here's an Integrated Truss Structure for a space station. [t]http://dl.dropbox.com/u/13781308/KSP/Station%20Truss%201.png[/t] Work in progress of course.
y? just pics from turbosquid.
Because you're an all around cool guy.
Because you're an all around cool guy.
well shit. I guess it is time to NovaS up.
What's this?
So any good modpacks available? I'm looking to move out from stock parts.
KW Challenger, Down Under, Nova Punch, and cBBp Durgun are all excellent. You can find links in the OP.
Ss you never even used the durgun capsule as intended so how can you say this? :P [editline]21st January 2012[/editline]
What's this?
something that should die... wtf.. submarine in a space game... [editline]21st January 2012[/editline] Also, if anyone can find a picture of the F-1A rocket motor i would be happy :D i am curious as to how they got 33% efficenty from the F-1 or even an M-1.

Unlike the ISS, which is very rigidly designed, the Mir station was expanded organically to accomplish changing goals. I think it looks inviting and natural, rather than scientific. [editline]21st January 2012[/editline]
Ss you never even used the durgun capsule as intended so how can you say this? :P
I've flown it in tests here and there. I still prefer Mei Long, but I like a lot of the components in your pack.
I'd love someone to make a decent space station. Like I did with my small satellite, I'll put it into orbit and watch
I like the Mei long over the Durgun only because its 1m.
1 meter was too small to fit atop the Failcan. besides. it will hold 7 crew members when you can change the numbers :) I made a 1 meter adapter for it :/ [editline]21st January 2012[/editline] I like how Mir was just a bunch of salyuts stuck together lol RIP MIR. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fVQd9Ejkbiw [editline]21st January 2012[/editline] and buran http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=endscreen&NR=1&v=Q6WHjQ3Y3Uo
Testing out the module in orbit, mainly for sizing it up. [t]http://dl.dropbox.com/u/13781308/KSP/screenshot29.png[/t]
how big is a kerbal? this is the main question.
how big is a kerbal? this is the main question.
like 2 ft tall apparently
how big is a kerbal? this is the main question.
.4 meters tall
well scale them to this. [editline]21st January 2012[/editline] When i was a kid we went to the cape and i saw ISS parts being worked on in the nasa Clean room. You cannot do this any more :) [editline]21st January 2012[/editline] are we there yet? http://marsprogram.jpl.nasa.gov/msl/mission/whereistherovernow/ [editline]21st January 2012[/editline] look at that thing flex 0_o http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hDCCBgppG4s&feature=related
-snip- [editline]21st January 2012[/editline] are we there yet? http://marsprogram.jpl.nasa.gov/msl/mission/whereistherovernow/ -snip-
Harv really should've added higher warp speeds when he added those new planets. [editline]21st January 2012[/editline] That picture of MIR put me on a searching spree. I googled ISS for large images. WOAH. Nice solar panels.
ugh I have no idea what i want to do for this engine...
-vid- I spent 2h30 doing this. Wow. :v:
Loved this when I first saw it
Any of you guys know where I could find good parts for a space station?
[hd]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0CAPYflYr20[/hd] I spent 2h30 doing this. Wow. :v:
I hate how you have to ignite missiles before you launch them.
Any of you guys know where I could find good parts for a space station?
Nova might make them :P I plan on making them once I see how docking and such will work. i also need to think of a design for my stuff. I am thinking of making it my own design. not like Todays stuff. [editline]22nd January 2012[/editline] fucking nova is god mindset

I don't know if you have or not, but you should have a conversation with Nova. He might be able to help you work out the kinks.
no you are missing the point. the problem cannot be fixed by model or anything. it can only be fixed by harvester changing code. NovaS is not a damn god or anything that can help in anyway. His shuttle just has high Command pod control. the wings do very little. I am trying to do the opposite.

Any of you guys know where I could find good parts for a space station?
I'm making some now. Just scroll up the page. If need them now though, I would use some of the KW fuel tanks.
No matter how much I try, I can't get to the Mün, let alone get into Kerbin orbit to attempt to catch it. My rocket either runs out of fuel on the trip, one of the engines tears off or the rocket spazzes out and causes a redirection, engine explosion or a direct command module kapoot. And if I were to ever even land on the Mün, I'm not sure parachutes work in there to break the fall a bit and keep the rest of the fuel for the trip back home.
I'm making some now. Just scroll up the page. If need them now though, I would use some of the KW fuel tanks.
Oh god I can't wait.
I MUST CONTINUE It's a bitch to fly and it'll freak out within a minute, but I'm sure I can improve it! [editline]22nd January 2012[/editline] For who don't know what it is: it's a rocket on a plane.

Also, your rocket obviously isn't good enough, if you can't even get into Kerbin orbit. Either that, or you are a horrifically bad pilot. Give us a picture of the craft.
I started over with the station parts and here's what I have so far: [t]http://dl.dropbox.com/u/13781308/KSP/Station%20Parts%201.png[/t] There's the actual module and 3 types of end pieces. There's a docking cap which will allow you to dock with it when docking is implemented. It's in the middle. On the right is an expansion cap. It's for attaching more modules. It will probably work like a normal docking cap. On the left is an end cap. It basically just plugs the end up and doesn't allow for docking or anything.

Ghostbusters, moving in. No more ghost page anymore. - For some reason the ghost page disappeared, with me still being on the end of this page... Oh well. Anyways, I'm hyped for 0.14. I might need to get a pirated version though, because although I pre-ordered it, it was on a different email I no longer have access to, and thus I can't get the store account. Contacted Harv, Hope he can help, although he's probably not the right guy to ask. He's a great help with most things, though.
