CardBoardBoxprocessor: and fairings NovaSilisko: yeah the fairing is really weird shaped CardBoardBoxprocessor: reminds me of safe sex and some dick torture device NovaSilisko: can't unsee CardBoardBoxprocessor: now you have to change it
this works really well.
What mods are you people using / what do you suggest? I want more rocket parts etc, stuff for getting to / landing on the moon. But also that doesnt make it really easy?
but you are not done the ISS.
I needed a little bit of a break from station parts (mainly because I don't know how to model some of the parts) and I wasn't in the mood to try any texturing.
this works really well.
Yeah it's like those small rockets are made for shooting, but in my opinion rockets should be smaller and faster.
Decided to change the name, because Kosmos is easier to say, and it sounds awesome if we call the space station pack the "Cardboard Kosmos" Pack. Very Kerbal-ish if you ask me. I'll be continuing to model parts all weekend, and I've decided on a final list of all the parts that will be in the pack: -------- Salyut 4: Core, Docking Module, Solar Panel Almaz: Core, Docking Module, Solar Panel Mir: Core, Node, Kvant 1, Kvant 2, Kristall, Spektr, Docking Module, Priroda, Solar Panel, Radiator Panel, Small Radiator Panel, Sofora Girder TKS: Functional Cargo Block (Fuel Tank), Engine, SAS, Nose RCS, Tail RCS, Capsule (!!!) -------- I think that will give a well-rounded pack that allows for some pretty amazing space stations to be built. After this, I'm not sure what to do next. I may someday recreate the Kliper Spaceplane, but I'll look into that later. In any case, Kosmos is off to a great start.

Started experimenting making small jet planes. Jet Mk.1 Jet Mk.3
I want that first one A lot.
[t]http://dl.dropbox.com/u/13781308/KSP/Station%20Parts%206.png[/t] Pre-release soon. I just need to fix placement issues with the 1.5x2 meter module, remake the docking hub, and get some sort of textures onto these things, no matter how crude. Also, I don't think I'm going to keep the old rounded end caps. They're pointless and I bet most people won't use them anyway. I don't even use them.
Oh yeah. I like this baby. I added heavy fin things on he back of the wings though, it could turn much better after that.
What should I name my Mun-Rover-and-carrier?

I wanted my engine below my cockput cause that's how real jet planes roll most of the time, but it's such a pain making it fly as well.
Oh yeah. I like this baby. I added heavy fin things on he back of the wings though, it could turn much better after that.
Mini A-10?

[editline]27th January 2012[/editline]
Mini A-10?
Uhh, that looks nothing like an A-10 other than the engine mounts.
Fully-assembled Almaz station. In real life, this station was equipped with a recoil-less aircraft machine gun that could be used to attack satellites. According to most reports, the Almaz station successfully tested this feature once on an old Soviet satellite, shooting it to shreds. The program was considered too expensive to continue, however, for such a limited gimmick. Edit- I just realized that the reference picture I was working from had lines that suggested one shape when it actually meant something completely different. I'll have to modify the station a bit, but this, for the most part, looks like the finished product.

Has anyone made star wars mods yet? Jeb keeps telling me he wants to be Red Leader.
Those stupid borders on the Mun every hundred meters make my rover jump and then explode. This saddens me.
lookks Nice
Has anyone made star wars mods yet? Jeb keeps telling me he wants to be Red Leader.
We were talking about it a while ago, and I don't think there is one yet. I'm not sure how many Star Wars ships are modular enough to do well in KSP.
KSP, this is not how physics work I'm speeding up without any form of engines, I did this by going in 2X warp with adv SAS on. [editline]28th January 2012[/editline] maybe it's the insane spazzing of the flaps, which causes them to work as some kind of engine?
Go realistic physics
Go [del]realistic[/del] Kerbal physics -snip-
Fix'd that for you.
lookks Nice
That looks amazing!

If you put a bunch of controllable fins on a pod and drop it while spinning it slows you down too.
