I finally got to Olmec in the new version. It took me about half as long as it took in the original, but I still feel like it should have taken me a lot fewer deaths. I only had 2 HP going into the fight though, and he's so much faster than he used to be, I just couldn't deal.
Fuck this game is frustrating as shit. Have never made it past first jungle level. Kill me.

i got one gold orb in the "lobby" door for beating olmec, but id used a shortcut, theres a slot for another orb and a gem, guessing one is no shortcuts and the others hell :(

How do you get the DLC characters on pc?
All characters are unlockable ingame.

I made it to the Temple once. I was incredibly lucky since I basically went through the ice world without engaging any enemies at all. The first enemy I met in the Temple however, was the Mummy, that instantly killed me :v:

Dual tiki traps are scary and common.
Just be real careful around them, if they are covering the exit then bomb one down before leaving.

Or climbing gloves. The ice caves are the easiest area, really.

That's why you use it in short bursts and land often.
There is always surface to take a break on, and hugging a wall with climbing gloves refuels it as well.
