Spelunky - Welcome to die. - Games

afaik all weapons with recoil (web gun, shotgun, freeze ray, whatever else) allow you to make a 3 block jump (maybe 4 with climbing gloves?)

I got this game as a birthday present and got to the jungle on my first try then a frog blew me up

The freeze gun helped me get further than I ever had. I got into the 3rd level of the temple because I one shot everything. It saved my life against anubis. And the scepter is awesome.

God damn, I've died on Olmec twice now. First time I ever reached Olmec in the free version, I beat him, but now I just can't do it.

Guys I want to do a Spelunky website of some sort to help the community grow a little bigger but I have no idea what I should do on it. Any idea ?

Even the Damsel and Pug player mods were pushing the boundries. I did replace a character with Vladmere though and he works pretty well, was unsure about releasing it but I probably will tommorow.

How many characters are there to unlock? I shot a coffin with a shotgun and rescued/murdered some girl at the same time and unlocked her as a character There were a lot of things dying and exploding after that shot so I've yet to pinpoint what actually triggered the unlock

I assumed the unlock was because I killed about 5 things at once with a TNT crate

Some coffins are random, some only spawn in predetermined stages (such as Meat Boy only spawning in the Worm).

And in other news I tried to bring the key all the way to the temple, I succeeded on my second attempt, I just ran the fuck away from everything :v:
