Sorry to bump, curious if anyone here is active. Started playing again after ~6 years or so I'd say.
I think this thread needs a bump because of the new world event. The nearby plains are on fire, and there are all finds of new items available to get. If anyone even still plays this game, or this bump causes new people to play, then you should try and get some stuff from it.

Bumping this thread because a lot's happened in the past year, and even more tonight
There's a twitch stream tonight where the developers are showing off their backend tools/developing and implementing content live (to the point where the last one had some major exploits that people found by watching). This is the second stream, and they're making it such that even a brand new player can drop in and experience the content, but it's only available tonight while they're developing it
In the past year, there's been dozens of revamps major and minor, months worth of new content, and it's generally more friendly for players who aren't dickstabbers
Also, I inherited the facepunch clan, but it's mostly inactive accounts, so I'll be that guy and say you should join the clan Greenen72's in, with free crap and a bot that I'm working on

Oh, the clan's called We Got Bawls, but once you're like level 5(?), you can go to seaside town and click on the clan district to do clan-related stuff. Just be careful on who you join because some really sleazy ones have popped up in the last few years and advertise agressively
Christ I remember playing this in like 2007, I should start again.
