I have the UK(EU?) version and there was no censorship.

It wasn't censored on PC.
Guys who is responsible for censorship in EU? There are contradictory information:
I was told that Australia has different standards. They have their own ratings system, as does Europe, so I was told that we had to submit it for ratings and they come back and tell you this will pass, this won't.

Ubisoft has censored the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions of 18-rated comedy role-playing game South Park: The Stick of Truth in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. The PC version remains unaffected.

When asked about the censorship, a Ubisoft spokesperson told Eurogamer: "this was a market decision."
It was EU or Ubi?

In Europe it was Ubisoft that wanted it censored, in Austrailia the Ratings Board wanted it censored.
At what point does my [sp]Mongolian bow or something[/sp] stop being extremely OP? I slapped some extra-damage thing on it and it still obliterates everything [sp]in the alien-ship.[/sp] :v:

It never stopped for me, I just found something even more OP (I think it was a broken bottle) and replaced the bow with it.

That weapon is the best, so handy during boss fights
It never stopped for me, I just found something even more OP (I think it was a broken bottle) and replaced the bow with it.
I thought the snowball-thing would replace it but it's just 1 hit that slows enemies down and does 94 damage at the moment. Whereas now I do 3 attacks that each deal 70+ damage and cause burn + gross that do over 130 damage each turn the enemy takes. :v:

There are only 3 days.
The Bar Darts are the best day 1 weapon, the bleed damage you can deal is off the charts, and with a Toothpick or a Cult Pamphlet it just gets plain broken.
The game keeps crashing for me at the second [sp]nazi zombie[/sp] fight.

Compound bow, 4 hits.
Add some bow patches and damage strapons and suddenly KILL EVERYTHING
I gotta ask, since I've never actually watched South Park, plus I was quite of fan of Paper Mario and it's turn-based combat, should I give this game a try? Would I be missing out on a lot of I haven't watched the show?
Damage system in this game is weird. Something I take like large chunks of 5000 hp each, sometimes 1 hp because of armor/resistance/whatever else
Does anyone know how to use the Volt spell for mage? It says left click when the wires cross but that seems a bit too difficult.
When the wires spark, click.
I've never seen the spark when I try doing Butters spin attack.
I've never seen the spark when I try doing Butters spin attack.
You have to mash A and D.

Yea, I don't watch South Park and I'm enjoying it

I'm on PS3, but I know how to spin. When i'm spinning the spark never appears for me to actually do the attack so it just says Too Late and I do pitiful damage.

Are you watching for the small white spark they usually use? If so, you're supposed to hit it when the pillar of light appears.
Out of interest does anyone know what engine this game runs on?
In the game files I found a video config that has lots of stuff that doesn't apply directly to this game.

Runs on the Dungeon Siege III engine. Modified, of course.

If you put "use_directx_11" to true and same with AA. The game comes up with a continuous black screen. At least that's what I experienced.
[sp]Fucking Hell, I wasnt expecting extreme button mashing like in Metal Gear Solid when fighting both Cartman or Kyle, my arm hurts like a bitch now.[/sp]
Is anyone ever having problems with the fart specials ie the cup a fart, and the large fart attack? I can't get it to full power and it's pissing me off.
I just finished the game a few minutes ago as a mage. It's already one of my GOTYs. Took me almost 13 hours to beat, although I skipped a few sidequests. It was pretty fun, although with the fifth mage special attack and Kyle's third special attack, non-boss fights became trivial. I'm probably going to finish the rest of the sidequests later.
Also, out of curiousity, how do you find the [SP]Woodland Critters[/SP]?
[sp]There is a note in Kyle's room with directions. Just head to the forbidden forest and follow what the paper said.[/sp]

There's a note somewhere that has the directions, you start from Kenny's house and go into the woods, I think the pic is in this thread, I'll check.
Okay, googled it, there's a note in Stan's room that shows you how to get to them, but in the thread I checked here's the directions, not sure if it matters where to start from: [sp]Right, Up, Right, Down, Right to get to them[/sp]
You guys need to learn how to button mash. Use one finger on each hand and quickly alternate between them. The only button mashing I couldn't do were the toilet ones.

I used both my index and middle finger on the same key to button mash.
Bought this game today and have 10 hours already.
This game is so good.
Finished it in 12.5 hours, I wasn't really rushing, and did all the side quests I came across. Great game, though as people say, combat is a tad easy. Would have been nicer if there was a bit more depth to some parts too other than mash buttons. But overall very good game.
