Wow so the German version gets delayed just so I can play it without all the awesome jokes. Also some guy said that the [sp] Hitler audio snippets [/sp] are completely muted. That's complete bullshit and now I kinda regret buying it. If this isn't encouraging piracy I don't know what is. So now I can wait for another week just to play a overly cut version of the game.
Europe (specifically Germany) on Nazism: "If we don't talk about it we can pretend it never happened."
Europe (specifically Germany) on Nazism: "If we don't talk about it we can pretend it never happened."
It's more like we have to censor it to show the world that we're really against nationalism now.
Just finished the game, amazing experience. Coming from a huge South Park fan for over 10 years this is exactly what I wanted in a South Park game. Gets really over the top half way through :v:
This game owns. Solid RPG, great humor.
[sp] That tinfoil hat hobo that recites Hitler's speeches, how do you even come up with that?! [/sp] :v:
Hello, I really want the uncut version of this game and I've seen people on tf2outpost trading the RUS/CIS versions for pretty cheap prizes. But I don't know if there are English voices and texts in those versions. Anyone knows more about this? I only know that you need'd a proxy for activation once, but not for playing.
Anyone here, who reads this thread because they're not sure if they'll buy it or not. Do it. It's seriously a good game. I generally do not enjoy RPG's or turn based combat games, but I 'tried' this and immediately bought a copy. It's seriously worth it. Be sure to get an uncensored version though, (that means PC version or selected console versions). It's got lots of well done jokes including nudity and obscenity, without it feeling forced or predictable. Had a blast playing this! Matt and Trey are the most immature adults I know[/sp]

sorry again, but how the fuck do i [sp]stop princess kenny from getting raped?[/sp] i broke the [sp]furniture to make the path to the ceiling[/sp], now i'm stuck

I walked into the bank and Heard the 'Montage' Song which I thought was from Team America, but apparently it appeared in South Park first, huh. I know Team America was made by the same people.

Goddamn the pc controls for the farting tutorial is terrible, how the devil does the cup a spell work? I'm sick of seeing cartman saying the same line over and over again and the button demonstration being absolute shit
I've beaten the game 100% (pretty much) on my first playtrough under 11 hours. I'm max level, have beaten all quests I could find, friended everyone I could friend and opened every loot container out there. The game was shorter then expected. Especially considering that they said that the game was ~22hours long...
-snip- never mind, /v/ explain how I had to follow the arrow (which I didn't even realize existed because of how small it was)
Here is Angry Joe's review on South Park: The Stick of Truth.
Just completed the game took me just under 15 hours. The last part of the game was worth the price alone. 9/10.
Just completed the game took me just under 15 hours. The last part of the game was worth the price alone. 9/10.
Now I'm HYPED.
Beat the game at 10 hours with main story and all sidequests done. Did anyone manage to get all the chinpokomon? I'm missing like 6.
Finally mastered Ro Sham Bo timing, coupled with my bloody [sp]Bar Darts which hit multiple targets[/sp] I'm a DoT fiend! Also I really prefer [sp]Butters[/sp] as opposed to [sp]Kenny[/sp] for my companion. The one downside to [sp]Butters[/sp] is his lack of ranged when he's out of PP and the enemy is Riposting. While I've been taking my time, I do really hope they add DLC or announce that they're making another, larger game. I know they said it was stressful, but damn if I don't enjoy everything these guys pump out. Sidenote: I was playing earlier when my Dad came home and he got to witness the [sp]Anal Probe minigame[/sp] which cracked him up. Great family game.
So I watched the E3 trailer again and I noticed some stuff missing from the game. 1:24 Summon of one of the satanic animals 1:25 Fight with crab people 1:31 Fight with Emo/Goth kids at some graveyard
ahahaha mash s to dodge your father's [sp]giant ballsack[/sp] with a backflip this game is fucking great
There is a Secret Of Monkey Island reference in the lost woods. Not interactive but basically this http://lparchive.org/The-Secret-of-Monkey-Island/Update%2014/6-somi_553.gif

So i just got done through with this, and I realized I forgot to sell my junk. So as I was selling it (painstakingly slowly since i have no idea how to quickly sell stacks on PC) I noticed a "shadow of the collopsus" game, which was clearly a shadow of the colossus reference. This is a good game.

I hung on to my copy (now copies) of Cyclopsus, otherwise I'd have nothing to play on my Okama Gamesphere.
Is there some way of completely removing the button bashing parts?
Does the difficulty scale have any effect on this, perhaps? I haven't touched it since I set it to hardcore at the beginning.
You know that part where you and Jimmy [sp]gotta go to that rancher guy's farm to find some sort enchanted flute thing? Does a "skip" option come up when Jimmy does his stuttering there?[/sp] Because that doesn't seem to show up for me, so I'm condemned to watch that cutscene for eternity with no hope of getting on with the game.
You can just mash whatever button is used to use his ability where you have to fix his stutter. For PC it's "S" by default. Doesn't pop up or anything but I tried it after watching him stutter for 3 minutes and it made him finish the sentence.
