This is just another case of an admin having abusive mods. Only this time I'm the one banning people.

Help! Omaliymix is abusing his admin position by banning me and everyone else!

This is slowly turning into a truckload of shit, all because some idiots want to have fun by wrecking shit up for no reason.

It's fantastic, shame that it doesn't get attention. I occasionally get on for a second or two, mainly because there's no one to talk to. Also, I haven't got any ideas what to build now.

I don't think there are. I think it's just because no one knows about the server. I asked you all to help me get this shit active because I've done my best, but no one gives a shit.

Your idea is great, but whitelisting locks a lot of potential players out and creates the facade of some dumb secret club (and is pretty ineffective at keeping undesired players out). You should just make it like 2b2t (this weeds out 12 year olds and other such people) with 1.7.3 only features.

Whitelist is good for personal servers, where only you and some of your friends may play once in a while. If you want to have a large and popular server, whitelist is not the best idea, since it keeps 90% of potential players away (although I think in this case it's more of a "greylist", doesn't change much though). It also may not work very well against griefing and such, since any griefer might as well just act as a friendly and adequate person for a while, only to wreak havoc later. For server promotion, I personally can't say much, I can only suggest putting it on various "Server List" websites (just googling "Minecraft Servers" or "Minecraft Server List" may show a few, like [url=http://minecraft-server-list.com]this[/url], [url=http://minecraftservers.net]this[/url] or [url=http://minecraftservers.org/]this[/url]. [url=http://www.planetminecraft.com/resources/servers/]Planet Minecraft[/url] also has some sort of a server browser and the website itself is pretty popular, but mods on there love to randomly delete content), people often check them when looking for a place to stay. If you think this idea is a waste of time and money, well, it's your choice. If you're worried that no one would simply give a damn about this server, this is not true. I'd personally love to stay on this server, but I can't really help beyond just suggesting something, others may simply have nothing to say on this topic so they prefer to stay silent.
