Dota2FP East League - Prizes to be won, free to enter! Includes player stat-tracking, broadcasted ga

Finished a lot of rendering today for the streams, and on that note were looking for a regular stream broadcaster, contact me if you think you have good experience or would like to try broadcasting regularly. (This means you won't be streaming to your own channel.)
More previews coming soon, we will also be aiming for the finals to be next week or this week, meaning the new stream should be up by then!

"the best plays
(the worst players)"
Revised Rules & Regulations, some difference in Late rulings, Streaming rules, stand-ins, penalties and some other smaller things.
Procedure guide within a few days or months. Depends.
Season 0 Rules & Regulations will still be available until June 5th.
Stand-ins
Stand-ins are considered team members. You may freely switch them out in-between matches and rounds as long as they are on the team sign-up list. Any other stand-ins must be declared and confirmed to the match official if they are not on the list.
Please remove this, allowing teams to change players in a set is retarded, opens up too many possibilities and can throw the opponent off.
- See below post
u can make it so you can only use standins who arent in playing in the league already in other teams, less "possibilities" that way right?
I think maruhai just didn't want the following to happen:
Team A drops 2 games from a Bo3 ; Team A tells one of their players to DC ; Team A gets a standin for that player who is 8278937498 times better than him ; Team A proceeds to win 3 games in a row and wins the set.

Imo this isn't completely unreasonable to be worried about, especially if we're actually having some serious prize pools on the line.
Pretty much what Reav said but it's not just about pure skill level but also about situational players.
Like a team could have two carries: one for a traditional ricing carry and one for an "EG" style carry that's mostly a midgame playmaker.
The enemy team cannot know about this, it's not another level of depth added to the game, it's just a cheap way to victory. If teams start making 6/7 man rosters where they can change whenever they want, might as well play the sets in All Pick, because banning would be useless if you can't study your opponents and carry info from the previous game into the second one of a set.

Yeah you're right this is the right way to play Dota it makes the game deeper and causes no drawbacks, 100% right, I wonder why nobody thought of it before in 7+ years of competitive Dota ? Even Amateur tournaments didn't think of it, Skeeve you really are the hero of our time. Thanks for coming up with this wondeful new ruling that will put an end to scheduling issues and create a whole new depth to be considered even tho it has nothing to do with the game.
-See below post.
It's not insults wtf are you on
Don't be upset because people disagree with your ruling that will happen all the time especially if you go out of the way and make suspicious decisions that almost no other tournament amateur or not did beforehand

EVERYONE CALM THE FUCK DOWN.
TAKE IT INTO PM& STEAM CHAT.
OR THE COMMITTEE FORUM. PLEASE.
[editline]21st May 2014[/editline]
Sorry for the caps, but i had to put it out.
In light of recent events (which have been resolved.) Dota2FP will be hiring a PR officer to handle this type of thing so it doesn't happen again. They will handle all announcements and quell any questions/comments the public may have. A reminder the committee is the best tool you have for expressing your opinion and having things changed. (This means I won't be commenting with personal opinion.) I apologize for defending my position and should have let it gone through the systems put in-place and have somebody not personally involved handle it.
(Tl;dr, I will be only posting announcements in this thread hence-forth, no more comments except from the PR officer.)
The PR Officer or "Spokesperson" will be relaying all of our opinions on matters on behalf of the entirely of the organization and will help us remain as professional and helpful as possible, and hopefully relay the neutral opinion of the league based on our Rules & Regulations and not personal opinion.
I'd also like to personally welcome
Frantic (NA) and RockSushi (EU) as Season 1(2?) official organizers / officers.

For a second there i though it said f'natic and I though this place had hit the bigtime.
it's fine you can't really hit big time status with RockSushi as an organizer
I´ll get a couple of helpers for this organizing just for you, Maruhai ;)
me and Spirit_Breaker sounds good
me and Spirit_Breaker sounds good
No personal grudge I just don't trust somebody who decided to ragequit from dota forever then came back because he lost a pub as a tournament organiser.
If you want to be a good TO you have to love the game you're managing and judging from your past actions that's not your case.
Please take your opinions to PM/wherever, but not here.

Just got an email saying that items now drop in our league as long as there are 500+ spectators, so get some friends when we get on steam!
Wait, was May 30th the Season 1/2 signup date cut-off? I have a couple of teams I know of that might be interested in signing up.
Also apologies from myself for sort of being AWOL with scheduling the grand final - just been trying to schedule and get our(BFVC) JDL matches out of the way first.
Okay so, I realize this is out of the blue and everything, but I believe we're having the GRAND FINALS IN 2 HOURS.
If you want to spectate feel free to add me on steam, I don't know if we can get a streamer due to how short-notice this is.
Yeah, sorry about that but, this is the one time Im free for long enough. I got 3 weeks of exams comming up and I have yet to start studying. Now or never, sorry, Skeev!
Match is go in TEN minutes!

Nice to see Feed5Life replacing me without telling me about it and even saying that they'll wait until I come back from Germany in 2 days. Good luck to BFVC let's win this boys !!
