Man i offered the enemy team a win for the first game due our member being 8 minutes late, but they said 'they don't have time' but apperently they cant wait 10 minutes but can play 2-3 games

Sucks, but we'll be able to easily continue without them. Just remember : Have fun! It's not about how late the other team was or how early you were. Were just playing here to enjoy ourselves and get some neat prizes out of it.

First things first: Rules are set to be followed. Extra time was asked of on grounds that "he's eating", and extra time was denied by our team. That alone should be followed, [B]regardless[/B] of admin stature. Things that happened during the lobby: 1) [B]The enemy team was 20 minutes late to the lobby. Our team was there directly on time. ALL OF US.[/B] 2) [B]Chat spam from the enemy team. I understand that it's supposed to be a fun tournament with giggles but you can make your own chat tab to spam, I don't wish to see it. Especially when I'm trying to talk to my team.[/B] 3) [B]At multiple points, homophobic slurs were intended. Saying things like "You know p.D means fag in French". I personally take offense to this, for reasons I won't state. But regardless of offense, it shouldn't be done, and the admin should've stepped in right there.[/B] 4) [B]When giving the admin his own rules on being late, he decided to threaten us with penalties. Even if this is a "fun" tournament, that's extremely uncalled for. In fact it's down right gross coming from an admin.[/B] There are rules. You need to follow them. I've only been on this team and in this tournament for about 3 days, and everything I've heard has been bad about it. I think this tournament could eventually become very very nice, but you need new admins. Or the current admin needs to have a change of himself.

In all the previous games/tournaments, there have been shittalking galore, and it's all been taken in stride, but not taken seriously.

Hey I'm sorry but pd is gay in French

In a community where we play primarily for the sake of playing and the entertaiment of it, when you guys call for a default win because I was 10 minutes late( I was in dota at :20, when i was told that the game will start at :10) you need to understand that everyone will think the several of you: a) You are drama queens; b) You evaded a game because you couldn't get an easy win; I literally joined the lobby 1 minute after you left, yet you didn't want to come back and play. You have the time to play up to 3 dota games (~ hours) but you dont have the time to wait 10 minutes? "But I thought I would be playing during those 10 mins!!" Really? Its dota, those games could have taken more than 3 hours in total. Whats 10 minutes compared to that?

Some updates on scoring : Any games against PD no longer count as some teams didn't actually get to go against them. Were also going to change the regulations a bit to help with this "learning experience." Were not going to be getting a replacement team, sorry! We will possibly be making some changes to schedule. One last thing : I was never notified that the chat was offending, since I don't read it since I expect everyone has their own chat. If something is seriously offending you contact me, don't whine in the chat and continually start saying your going to leave or etc. But let it be known that attitude like that ("We get an automatic win because they aren't here!") will have you penalized. I will release a full report regarding the situation and what happened, why the decisions were made etc. If you have any further questions or statements regarding this send me an email at [email]skeevyskeeve@gmail.com[/email] (*Complaining or being aggressive does not help!), we certainly don't want this happening again. [B]The chat spam[/B] I understand that this probably isn't an issue for all of you because you don't take it very seriously, but to have spam in the lobby chat makes it very hard for me to see if an admin types to everyone. Which is why I consistently requested "Please don't spam the chat", and why I further suggested if you'd like to spam with your team you do it in your own chat tab. [B]The admin not reading chat[/B] I understand this is hard as one admin who's also trying to run a stream, but you need to watch the chat for things that could be taken as offensive. Having homoslamming slurs flying around is fairly rude and very unprofessional no matter HOW professional the tournament actually is. I took a pretty fair amount of disliking to it, even if it's supposed to be taken in stride. And even when I tried to contact the admin, my friend request was ignored, and I was told by my team "You're only supposed to add him if you're the captain." [B]Being late[/B] This is an excuse that I didn't like about waiting. I set down a specific amount of hours to play a match, and when 20 minutes go by (The match was supposed to start at 2:00pm my time, we left at 2:22pm with the enemy team still down a member) because "he wants to eat" I'm not generally happy as that's not a life or death reason. I woke up from working late 2 hours before the actual match to warm up on Dota, and one of our players woke up with a hangover and still made it on time. The delay would be fine if there was an actual reason that could be taken as serious, or if as the rules stated "looking for a standin." But neither of these things were the case. 5 minutes people say "he's on Dota you can wait", but if he's on Dota he should be in the lobby, not on the menu.
