Fucking hell, [sp] I beat the game, was already to return to my loving wife but then FUCK NO SHE DIVORCES ME WAT. I DIDN'T EVEN GET TO MAKE A CHILD[/sp]
Ok i might goto the shops and purchase the game but im asking you guys. Purchase or no-Purchase?
I would say purchase. I spent 15 hours on the first play though, next play through will probably be faster, but I am planing on doing all the outcomes [sp] good/succeed (done), good/fail, evil/succeed, evil/fail[/sp] and that will probably be a total of 35-45 hours. [editline]31st October 2010[/editline] And then one whatever play through because there are 5 save files.
Purchase. Simon Pegg is in it for fucks sake what more convincing do you need. In all seriousness it's an amazing game that should occupy your time nicely.
Ok i might goto the shops and purchase the game but im asking you guys. Purchase or no-Purchase?
Purchase. I've played about 30-35 hours since Friday and I've barely started (not the story mind, I finished the first chapter).
Ok i might goto the shops and purchase the game but im asking you guys. Purchase or no-Purchase?
Purchase it. [editline]31st October 2010[/editline] I've spent countless hours exploring and doing side quests.
Wow, Wolfsbane is amazing against balvarines. It made [sp]Reaver's "party"[/sp] a breeze.
I wish I would find more swords and pistols. I don't use rifles or hammers at all :saddowns:
I like hammers, they are actually usable in this game, fable 2 hammers were way way way to slow. I wish they had zoom like in fable 2 though, that made rifles better for long range and pistols better for short range, now pistols are better at any range.
Balverines and Hollow Men are the worst.
Fucking Balverines....everywhere!
Fucking Balverines....everywhere!
I have no problems with Balverines. Wolfsbane does 65 damage +40% to wolves and balverines + 40% damage at night and I earn extra guild scenes when I use it. I do 91 damage per strike or 116 damage per strike at night. :smug: [editline]1st November 2010[/editline]
I like hammers, they are actually usable in this game, fable 2 hammers were way way way to slow. I want to shoot mercenaries in the head god damn it, they're fucking wearing armour!
I wish they didn't remove sub-targeting. I want to shoot mercenaries in the head god damn it, they're fucking wearing armour!
That's what I meant. [editline]31st October 2010[/editline] And Bloodstone Bludgeon does a ton, and one of the upgrades is +16.
Am I the only one who'd buy a DLC containing all the areas from Fable 2, I'd love to be able to go to more places around Albion, the map just looks too empty.
I'd buy it as well. I want to see Oakvale(I think that's what it's called)
I'd buy it as well. I want to see Oakvale(I think that's what it's called)
Oakvale is from Fable, it was destroyed by the time Fable 2 happens, Darkwood expanded over it and became Wraithmarsh. Oakfield is where you recruit Hammer. I want to see them both (and fix Oakvale). And I want to see Westcliff, Bloodstone and Knothole Island. I'd love to see Witchwood, Hook Coast and the Northern Wastes too but that's be asking too much.
So, what's a good way to make some cash? I'm very early in the game, trying to handle things with the Dwellers, have about 1200 gold, and I kinda want a disposable income. Does it work the same way as in Fable 2, that if you buy property, the game awards you cash while you're playing the game and not, or did they change it?

Good ways to make cash are: Upgrade Lute Hero on the Road to Rule, do it till you get enough money to buy a house or shop, buy a house, repair it and set the rent/prices to Highest. Then just either let yourself get money through the rent, or play lute hero some more and keep buying properties and setting the rent to highest. So with the Dwellers, you should be able to buy all 3 of the shops in their camp, buy them and set the prices to highest, then just keep buying houses etc.
I have no problems with Balverines. Okay, I'm playing throught the Aurora intro again and the more I think about it the more I think [sp]The Crawler might be Jack of Blades, or a deformed remnant of him. Jack wanted to destroy the world in fire, the Crawler wants to kill the world with darkness. The mechanical statues look almost identical to Minions and the the Sentinal statues look like Jack with angel wings. They both taunt the hero, claiming he secretly wants his companions to suffer. Jack blinded Teresa and called it a gift, the Crawler blinded Walter and called it a gift. And Willam Black broke Jack's body, the Crawler's body is trasnparent as though it isn't there and looks broken.[/sp] Or they're just similar. [editline]1st November 2010[/editline]
Not everyone bought the LCE .
Yeah, but Wolfsbane is kind of OP though, my strongest hammer does 87 damage per hit and Wolfsbane does 65 and is about twice as fast, so it can do 130 damage in the same time the hammer can do 87. Everything else is kind of useless next to it. :/ And my Hero Sword is shit. Fuck you Molyneux.
I got Fable 3 along with my new XBOX yesterday and I simply love it so far. Just bought my 2 first houses in Bowerstone and all. :buddy:
Doing every goody-two-shoes quest and buying all property before becoming Queen is tedious. Especially this Driftwood Island quest, it's "slow" so to speak.
Fuck's sake of course the last day of my week off school is a "sacred respect the dead" holiday meaning the post office is closed. :saddowns:
So, is Fable III worth getting? I've never played a Fable game before, but I do like myself a good singleplayer RPG. I haven't really read much about it, since I want a surprise. :v:

Fable 3 was a good game, but IMO Fable 1 and TLC are still the best in the series. Unfortunately LH, or most likely, Microsoft have decided to pull Activision tactics in making about 100 DLCs for each game, all of which are seperate items, all costing one hundred ms points. Its an absolute joke that they are making you pay to buy 4 colours which were left out of the game intentionally to sell. Companies pulling this crap makes me realise how good of a company Valve is. Actually, I think Valve, Bethesda and some indie studios may be the rare race of devs/publishers that care about consumers first and money second. Its actually quite funny that Rockstar releases a huge singleplayer campaign with many new enemies and models, a changed landscape, new voices and a lengthy main quest-line with several long secondary quests for 800 MS Points. In comparison LH/Microsoft are releasing Two quests, one region, a mini-game already present in the game, a costume, 3 hair sets, 4 colours and an armour suit for 960 MS Points.
I want the black dye. And a golden one. Also, how do I get Logans outfit if I can get it? Or is there a list of outfits one can gather because I've seen extremely few.
gah i want to upgrade to limited edition so i have to wait to see if any stores nearby still have copies and i don't want to play until i get more dlc stuffs
Is the co-op in Fable 3 local or over live?
Is the co-op in Fable 3 local or over live?
From what I've read, both.
Fuckin' magical.
I fucking jizzed when I heard this song in Fable 3, incase you want to know where, it's the quest where you're a part of a play, the very first scene.
