I think it kinda sucked that [sp]The music box you get at the academy plays an entirely different tune than it did in Fable 2, then again I guess they don't want you thinking about fable 2 while you're playing 3 otherwise it'll look bad. and that only reaver and Theresa showed up from the second, would have been cool to see Garth or hammer in old age or their children or even descendents from some of the characters you meet during Fable 2[/sp]

Well you do get to [sp]see Sam and Max.[/sp]
And frankly, who didn't want to see them? Oh those boys.. I bet they'll be in Fable 4 and Fable 5 too.
Speaking of running gags in the Fable series.... Where did the intense hatred of chickens and their surprisingly aerodynamic bodies come from?
No idea, Peter might have a phobia of chickens? Or someone else in the staff.
Any theory might be possible!
Chickens are almost a trademark for Fable 3. The intro, the loading screen, the suit.. :v:

I'm pretty sure Peter was afraid of chickens when he was younger, so it has been a running joke throughout the series that chickens are evil and you can kick them.

Speaking of which, the intro was bloody fantastic.
[sp] Just went through reavers party, I liked him in fable 2, but now i just think he is an utter twat, after doing all that shit, i go to find that they kill major swift, one of the coolest characters in the game for me. Just hope nothing happens to ben finn.[/sp]
Why the fuck is my character so pale? He's completely white with blue around his eye, he looks like he's wearing make up.
It feels to be like they cut too much from Fable 2.
I liked having corrupt and pure, expression wheel and multiple shop purchases and jobs.
I won't be getting Fable 3 for a while, so I started playing Fable 2 again. I'd forgotten how beautiful it was.
Speaking of chickens, [sp]the legendary weapon I got from the treasury chest is a pistol called Chickenbane.[/sp]
Why the fuck is my character so pale? He's completely white with blue around his eye, he looks like he's wearing make up.
My character is pale as hell too, but she has an awesome scar that runs across her left cheek, so I don't mind.
I just got The Sandgoose rifle. At skill level 4 it does 97 damage and if I complete 20 quests with it it gains +25 damage. HOLY FUCK.
Finished the game yesterday, though I pretty much blazed through the main story, so I might start another game. [sp]The part in Aurora is fucking amazing. One of the most disturbing experiences I've had in a game. It went from "Oh ho we gotta get out of here" to "WE HAVE TO LEAVE. NOW. ITS STILL THERE. CAN YOU HEAR IT? PLEASE TELL ME YOU CAN HEAR IT TOO."[/sp]
Also, [sp]I totally called the "arena" part of the game. Its guaranteed for every Fable game, I swear.[/sp] And on an unrelated note: Does having a Fable 2 save change anything? If I recall correctly, it didn't ask me to import a save when I started the game...
This time, you only get money while you're actually playing it.
Good ways to make cash are: Upgrade Lute Hero on the Road to Rule, do it till you get enough money to buy a house or shop, buy a house, repair it and set the rent/prices to Highest. Then just either let yourself get money through the rent, or play lute hero some more and keep buying properties and setting the rent to highest.
So I did what you said, and I bought almost all the houses in the Dweller camp. So I think everyone's starting to hate me. However, I've got 5000+ gold and making more; how long do you think this should go on for?
Reaver seemed kind of a pushover in fable 3 compared to fable 2.
From what I've read, both.
I'm guessing that PC will only be online.
Man. I'm having such a hard time being evil. I just can't do it in this game.
Alright, someone explain why I can't get the GameStop code working. It's 16-digits and I can only enter 25-digit codes.
Fuck that shit, been trying for ages now.
The finishing moves in Fable 3 are amazing. Who doesn't love kicking a Hobbe in the crouch 5 meters in the air?
Why the fuck is my character so pale? He's completely white with blue around his eye, he looks like he's wearing make up.
As you progress through the main story your character's skin begins to become pale and bags appear under their eyes. I don't know why it happens, or why Lionhead decided to put this in as I think its a pretty stupid idea.
Does having a Fable 2 save change anything? If I recall correctly, it didn't ask me to import a save when I started the game...
The game automatically checks if your active gamer profile has a Fable 2 save present, if so, it mentions to the hero as either your father or your mother. I am not sure if anything else from the save influences the game, but I don't think it does.
I thought becoming pale meant you used a lot of will. When my character became queen, she wasn't plae.
I got mentioned my mother.
Goddamn little 7 year old sisters my mum
Wait what?
I thought becoming pale meant you used a lot of will. When my character became queen, she wasn't plae.
That's strange. Your character is meant to go pale as you progress in the story. The use of Will causes tattoos to glow either blue or red and when casting a spell for them to be seen through clothing and will lines appearing during casting. Strength, or rather, the use of melee causes your character to become slightly more stocky. The use of Skill, as in, ranged combat causes your character to increase in height.
I was certain that Will causes you to age prematurely.

I did a flourish on a Sand Fury, it jumped over my head and as I was above me I casually reached up and snapped it's neck. It's body slid down a pit.
Another time I broke a ghost's neck with my legs.
The finishing moves on Sand Furies are amazing. Especially the one you just mentioned.
My favorite finishing move is the one where you throw your sword into their chest.

Make sure you're entering the actual code that's hidden under the pull up tab and not the serial number. If it doesn't have letters in it, it's the wrong code.
