I've played, beaten, and enjoyed Fable 1 and 2. And wait in anticipation till I get to play 3. I've loved the series thus far. Mostly because of the broad range of customization. I leik customizable characters. :)
The ending to Fable III was just terrible. It made no fucking sense, the whole ending year portion just feels so tacked on. The alcohol decision is fucking batshit. It makes no sense. How is outlawing alcohol evil? How does removing a drink limit cost me money? HOW DOES OUTLAWING ALCOHOL GIVE ME MONEY AAAAAAAAAH IT SHOULD BE THE OTHER WAY AROUND, IT SHOULD COST MONEY TO POLICE IT AND BRING IN REVENUE BY TAXATION. That isn't even the worst part, good god. If everyone becomes aware that [sp]the kingdom will come under siege and we will need all the money we can amass, they wouldn't be making fucking demands to use up money, they'd wait until after the attack.[/sp] That's common fucking sense. Are these people retarded or what? Even your fucking brother didn't need to be a gigantic cock, he could have been like [sp]"HEY GUYS WE'RE GONNA BE UNDER ATTACK SO WE NEED ALL THE MONEY WE CAN AMASS TO CREATE A DEFENSE FOR ALBION SO WE DON'T ALL DIE OKAY?"[/sp] That whole entire part feels like it was written by a fucking child. I literally cannot even believe this game built up to this point. I'm just fucking stunned. That was the worst ending imaginable. Even the boss battle was lame as shit, [sp]it was like a 2 minute duel,[/sp] it wasn't even cool, just mildly annoying. I'm absolutely stunned at how bad that was. Fucking wow.
Yeah, everything seems like it should be the other way round with the Good/Bad thing, logically, if you went the good path, the ending should be easier as you've got happy, healthy, well fed and strong people (who would most likely volounteer at a time of crisis to help their wonderful kingdom). The whole good/bad decisions really do feel like the wrong way round. Also, this game needs a regional "Repair Houses" or "Adjust Prices" thing, having it to do house by fucking house is just plain annoying. It also sucks that the melee weapons are reduced down to hammers and a swords, wheres my axe, katana or cutlass ffs, sure there's the weapon morphs but i wanted more as a base
My only disappointment in Fable III's customisation is the lack of a highwayman coat. That was my favourite clothing item. :frown:
it feels like they went couple steps forward then a couple steps back. like buying things is kinda a hassle now. fable 3 is a good game but it still feels incomplete just like fable 2. fable 1 will always be the best.
I just beat the game and got the Benevolent Bad ending, I only had 3 million in there when suddenly a huge time skip happened and forced me to the final day. Seriously, I had no clue that going into the throne room court would trigger the timeskip and now I'm a bit pissed off I was forced to have most of my population die without a forwarning. Oh well, I'll do better next playthrough. The rest of your post though, I cannot agree more with.
I was kind of disappointed with how the game led up to the ending. When it said [sp]days left until attack[/sp], I thought you would actually have that many ingame days to prepare, but could skip days if wanted/needed.

Anyway, at this point I believe it's fair to say that Fable 3 is an amazing game. After Fable 2 I wasn't expecting that much from Fable 3, but it was worth the money. Great game!
Playing co-op is a lot more fun than in Fable 2. I've played through the game about 3 different times with friends now :v: [editline]2nd November 2010[/editline] even though I haven't completed it by myself.
Just beat the game. [sp]The ending caught me off-guard. I shed a few tears.[/sp]
Yea. I can honestly agree. [sp]The ending was actually a pretty epic moment, I felt like crying during Walter's death scene. Despite the fact that about 95% of the game is full of humor, that one tragic moment moved me a lot.[/sp]
The co-op on this is good. Most games I don't replay, but I am on my second play through taking my time on this one, and spent 8 hours I think on other people's games.
Walter, Jasper, and Ben Finn are my favorite characters in the whole game. And Captain Swift, too.

Seems like an evil character doesn't even have to work for the money while a good character has to bust his ass to own all the shops and homes. Then leave the console on to build up money.
Being a benevolent leader really means being benevolent. [sp]Not only do you go into massive debt, you have to pool in your own money to fund the army.[/sp]
Damn I feel dumb, I pre-ordered this, picked it up and now I can't remember where I put it in my house. :frown:
I wish they didn't remove sub-targeting. I want to shoot mercenaries in the head god damn it, they're fucking wearing armour!
Well, I can understand it. It was op as fuck, get a master flintock rifle, go into sub targeting, aim for the head and boom. Dead at pretty much any range. I did like shooting weapons out hands, etc though. Can you still do that?
Yes! I got a notification that there's a package in the post office! ..but it's signed under my dad's name and I can't pick it up. :sigh:

I hope they do something with Silverpines, it seems such a waste that it's only used for 2 quests and one I was only able to do because I owned the limited edition. There needs to be more quests though to be honest and less collections :sigh:
YES! I GOT IT! Woo! brb must do celebration fap
just started fable: the lost chapters jesus christ everybody talks like they used to talk in my hometown OO ARR FARMER
Holy crap you guys weren't kidding when you said Albion's empty after the good/fail ending. Everyone seems to be either a corpse or a quest giver O.o
Anybody got a spare Fable 2 Limited Edition DLC code they want to sell me?
Does the game stutter occasionally for anyone else? I notice it the most while doing "Lute Hero" as it directly affects gameplay
Sometimes it does, sometimes it freezes up for like 10 seconds, well, character does atleast, grass/trees/whatnot keeps moving around in the background.
I was just coming up to [sp]Reaver's mansion[/sp] and the game really stuttered a lot
I was just coming up to [sp]Reaver's mansion[/sp] and the game really stuttered a lot
It usually only happens to me when I've played for like 2-3 hours straight, doesn't bother me too much, sometimes a loading-screen fixes it.
